  1. There's going to be a major dip in 2011, IMO. The Brewers were decent enough last year to give some optimism, but the product on the field this year is looking very bad.
  2. I wouldn't call this the worst study ever, you just have to think about it for a bit. A lot of people hate the Yankees, but a lot of people love them, which creates some balance. A lot of teams on that list have been very bad for very long - most likely the result of their own fans rating them poorly. The Dodgers are still hated by a lot of people and their children bitter over leaving Brooklyn. I wouldn't expect the Brewers to crack this list - pretty strong local support and not prominent enough for anyone outside WI to care about them.
  3. I don't hate Suppan. He's just a horrible pitcher for my favorite team and I want him gone.
  4. I really, really don't believe that Suppan playing is a "mandate" from Attanasio. Attanasio is a levelheaded guy. He's said time and time again he lets the "baseball people" do the baseball. He doesn't micromanage. Suppan is out there because Doug Melvin and Ken Macha are allowing it. They are killing this team by trotting him out there. You can't just white flag 1/5 of your schedule. Make it 2/5 with the way Doug Davis is looking.
  5. I'd believe it. They are rare. Very tough to find. There was a period of several years where they were just never showing up. It took me forever to get one.
  6. The Packers are definitely hated a good amount if you move around the country. And it goes far beyond division rivals. Yes, lots of people all over this country love the Green Bay Packers, but a large group of people hate them, too. I've been in lots of different places and that's just the truth. They were absolutely loathed in the 1950s and 60s, but plenty of people still despise the Packers.
  7. Oh, wait, never mind. I thought you meant did anyone buy theirs off eBay. I didn't buy that one, I bought mine off eBay years ago.
  8. I just wouldn't ever sell my whole collection as one lot. You lose so much money. This collection is definitely worth more than what he'll get for it. But people just won't throw down that much on a lot. I think it could pass $1,000, there's some great stuff there, but I bet it's shy of $1,500.
  9. I bet you this thing doesn't crack $2,000
  10. I got mine a while ago. The seller sold it just as a bobble, but when I got it, I inspected it and noticed it was autographed on the top and the guy didn't even mention that. It must have been autographed a long time ago, because it was Prince's "P and 2 dots" signature that he used to do before he became a star. Not sure if that changes the value at all, but I thought it was pretty cool.
  11. There were two of these during the 2008 season that went for $400+ on eBay. Now I would say $100 or so. Seems like when the Brewers and Fielder are going well, it will get about $200. I think if he leaves the Brewers, the value will drop, because I think the bobblehead crazy is stronger here than anywhere else. Anyone else see that?
  12. Looks like it might be time to consider tanking to get all these contracts off the books. We keep using our scrap money to sign guys like Suppan and Wolf...we need to burn it down and start over fresh.
  13. All Jeff Suppan ever did was take money thrown on his lap. He's a mediocre starter and basically always was. If he throws like he did today he can be our 5th starter. It's not his fault we gave him ace money.
  14. Can someone tell me what's going on? I have slow Gameday only at work.
  15. So what do you need to do to redeem the voucher? Go to the T-Rats game or Miller Park? How do you redeem it?
  16. Mark my words - Suppan is going to pitch 6-7 innings tomorrow and throw very well, saving us from the sweep and giving everyone false hope. He will then do a Ruben Quevedo impression in his next five starts, but tomorrow's start will buy him about three months from Ken Macha.
  17. Idiotic, so not at all surprising. When do the Packers start?
