  1. I think he meant this iteration isn't elite, which they don't seem to be but I also didn't think at least one of their championship teams was very good in the middle of that season. Maybe it was last year? I don't remember. Mahomes is the GOAT in my book though. He truly elevates everyone and they always have a chance with him. He has pulled so many rabbits out of his hat in huge games. Yes Brady has all those rings but you'll never get me to say he's better than Mahomes.
  2. The 49ers stink and Purdy sucks and it's great.
  3. I want to point out a key moment in that drive and it was the play where they ran a ton of time off and then heaved an incomplete pass down the middle. It was really a genius move. HOU didn't want to bail them out and stop the clock, which is understandable, and then it's a call that either gets a touchdown or goes incomplete, stops the clock with just enough time to run one more play. You either score or essentially take so much time off that HOU can't get the ball back. That was very well played.
  4. I'll officially be concerned if this ends on an interception.
  5. Just let them score. Does anyone believe we will hit a game winning FG anyway.
  6. Loudmouth Alexander toasted on the biggest play of the game.
  7. The defense has been stellar overall today, they have put up a donut in the 2nd half and were spotted some terrible situations in the first. Which usually means they are destined to be sliced up on this drive and have us go down with about 3 minutes left.
  8. I mean, lol. He has 3 game winning drives in the 4th quarter in like what, 20 starts?
  9. I'm ok if 60 of those yards are on the ground
  10. Is Jaire even capable of just going back to a huddle
  11. One of the reasons I am optimistic about the Packers. They just can't seem to get multiple faces on the same page at the same time. They have looked very good at times but haven't appeared to be really in a rhythm until last weekend.
  12. Feels like a game they will straighten out and take over in the 2nd half to me. But it was an idiotic half.
  13. I don't blame him letting it run out with the way Love is playing. Sounds like a fast track to being down 27-14 at half.
  14. Love missed 2 games and has 8 interceptions. He is on a clip to throw about 20 of them over a full season. That's very bad.
  15. This wasn't the normal call though. If you go back and watch that in real time, they are blowing that whistle long before there's a recovery. Half the players stop running. If you can challenge that, it's absurd. And like I said, that wrap around #11's waist is a completely illegal play, but, lol.
  16. No. That's not the rule. You can't challenge a recovery when they blow it dead prior to a recovery. That's why they are supposed to let it play out if they aren't sure.
  17. I don't know if it was a fumble or not but they blew it dead before a recovery. The defender also wrapped his arms around #11 to prevent him from recovering it which is not legal. And there would have been a collision with Love and the guy closest to recovering. The challenge is moot because they didn't let the sequence play out.
  18. How would a challenge of that forward pass even work? They blew it dead before anyone recovered the fumble.
  19. This team is so damn sloppy with the ball. It's my biggest issue with this season. Not the pass rush or the kicker or whatever. They give the ball away way too much.
  20. I came here to post something similar based on his last season, after just looking at his ESPN.com stats. He was 81% last year which is not super good, but then you see it's 30/37 with 5 misses from 50+, 35/35 on PATs. I was wondering what took us so long, until I saw this: He was released on June 2, after sexual assault allegations stemming from his time with the Jaguars went public.[41] Desperate times, I suppose.
  21. He very likely gets a pretty sweet deal from the Brewers, a good chunk of change and the only commitment is when he has no better national gig to do. That is a great set up if you can get it, not many guys can. Good for him. I would prefer a bit more local flavor and a guy that's going through the grind and attached. On a local telecast, I like that. Rock is not everyone's cup of tea, but I love the guy's passion for the team.
  22. Don't feel as harsh as some others, but I would prefer they cut ties, give a new guy a chance that wants to be here all year.
