  1. Oh man, what a smoking gun! I say things like that a lot because I want games to be close because I like watching games. I often wonder if that is the case at all for some folks here.
  2. Trust me I don't stress about backtracking with you. Not really something I lose sleep over.
  3. I said it was a close game prior to Love's interception. Give it a rest already. God Almighty. Any prediction anyone made is completely useless and moot. Please link to yours if that isn't the case.
  4. It falls flat when you are near the top in the league in drops before the game starts.
  5. MLF is down 3 scores and uses a timeout and comes out of it with a HB dive that fails to gain a yard. Sadly it checks out.
  6. Watson may not be a completely useless player but he's going to go down as one of the most personally disappointing guys for me. Even when the stats weren't there he had such explosion as a rookie, it was like watching Xavier Worthy this year. I thought for sure within a couple years he'd be blowing people up. But he just never got going. The hamstring problems were well documented but he just never seemed to put it together even when healthy.
  7. They should make the playoffs. My biggest concern all year has been Love and his turnovers. That is a self inflicted thing, a lot of his interceptions are just awful. With the way they have usually forced takeaways, it should be a strength of the team, but he negates it with his stupid decisions. Penalties do happen, I would rather have a team that's penalized a lot of of they are aggressive. I would think that would balance out eventually. But you cannot be a starting QB anymore throwing 20 picks. You just can't.
  8. I'm sorry your favorite team is losing. If your tantrums make you feel better then please proceed.
  9. Almost nothing in here is even a point I'm trying to make and it riddled with straw men but whatever. The game was close. That's it. It was, by almost any metric. Do you ever consider the fact that you might be a little bit myopic? If the roles were reversed and you're a Detroit fan, and Josh Jacobs had 100 yards in a quarter do you think you'd be talking about how amazing the Lions are or stressing about about how they need to stop him in a competitive game? I get you guys are upset at the result but *****. It was 10-3 and we had possession. The box scores was close. I just gave you 4 examples of things DET was doing poorly. What is a competitive game if that isn't?
  10. ...and the Lions had an idiotic penalty as well that extended a drive, and stalled in the 20 and kicked a FG, and took a sack on 3rd down and had to punt. It was competitive. I know you guys are upset and this is now a blood bath, but it wasn't what you guys are pretending it was prior to Love throwing that pick.
  11. It literally was the difference in the game up to that point. They were up by 7, and scored on that play.
  12. It was 10-3 with no turnover on either side, the Packers had out gained them in yards and the difference was essentially one fourth down conversion. If you don't think that's competitive, then "LOL that's on you."
  13. In a parallel universe where Willis plays the 2nd half and the Packers win...is there a...QB CONTROVERSY?!
  14. They've been a penalty prone team all year. Love however is a problem. It's indefensible at this point. You can't give up silly pick sixes like they are incomplete passes out of bounds. If he wasn't a top draft pick this is the kind of stuff that finds you out of a starting job. You simply can't turn the ball over like he has. The dudes tracking for like 20 picks. And all picks aren't created equally, yet he is throwing some VERY bad ones.
  15. The post you responded to, literally said as long as they don't cough the ball up on this drive. Lmao. You should care about the score though. It's kind of important.
  16. Packers seem to be a gutsy team so I think they will still keep this from being a total clunker. I hope anyway. I would prefer to have something to watch.
  17. They were down 10-3 and had the ball. They haven't moved the ball any less than DET really. You can craft whatever narrative you like, but the game was completely within reach before that idiotic throw.
  18. He's not close to either one.
  19. That is the one thing we couldn't have there. This is a real problem with Love. Way too much of that. He's been worse about it this year than last.
  20. They're fine. They're moving the ball. They're still in the game. Just don't cough it up here under any circumstances. Stop the boneheaded crap and this is a game you can get.
  21. There is destined to be at least one goofy turnover in this game and I just hope it falls our way.
  22. Not an automatic distance in the rain. That's on Kraft.
  23. That DQ isn't all that egregious. It was helmet to helmet on a ball that was clearly not getting caught and he had all day to lay a shoulder.
  24. Well deserved. He can earn himself a suspension as well.
