  1. if you have T-Mobile, they have offered MLB.tv for free the last couple years: https://www.cordcuttersnews.com/t-mobile-customers-can-get-mlb-tv-for-free-starting-today/ Seems that most of the moble phone carriers are providing included streaming services. Since I started with Sprint (bought out by Tmobile), I get Hulu for free or Hulu/Disney+/ESPN+ for a reduced amount. Tmobile accounts get netflix for free.
  2. And all of them have missed time this year.
  3. It just made them come out of the disguised coverage. I'm sure if they were playing the coverage Rodgers wanted them to play,we'd have won by 100 points.
  4. Something that craps all over the field?
  5. Turbo, I realize it was probably a sore spot, but he did put the 3 months vacation in blue. Blue=sarcasm...
  6. I was assuming Hauser. He is older, about to hit Arby and the easiest to replace.
  7. [sarcasm]I keep waiting for my kid's teachers to give me a gift for blessing them with my kids! [/sarcasm]
  8. Peavy didn't even list the most expensive one: https://www.mlbshop.com/milwaukee-brewers/mens-milwaukee-brewers-christian-yelich-nike-navy-alternate-authentic-player-jersey/t-14223283+p-0396697748879+z-9-1525670561?_ref=p-PDP:m-YMAL:pi-PDP_RECOMMENDATIONS_2:i-r0c3:po-3 It's almost gone, thus scarcity drives up the price ($80 more). Game05 the jersey is nice, the price...not so much.
  9. Certainly Polka isn't "hip" these days (was it ever???). But the Brewers have played Roll out the Barrel at every game I've attended. It wouldn't surprise me if Beloit plays it every game also. It is more like a cult classic type thing. What age range is Flying Carp actually targeting anyway? Now:
  10. Possibly flukey, but since his initial full time season in 2017 (where he did appear in 140 games and 511 ABs), he has had seasons of 28, 87, 39, and 61 games. He does play hard, but that also leads to some of his injures... Certainly a high risk/reward type guy.
  11. Ok, I have to admit that I would've gone for the Polka Pike. That is also very WI and could've made a fun mascot. But the Snappers was one of my favorite MiLB mascots.
  12. They love Jace. I doubt he goes anywhere. He was actually quite solid with the bat last season as well, so it really isn't a case of "Counsell loves utility guys who cant hit." [sarcasm]To be fair, Jace surprised everyone last year...that is why he must go.[/sarcasm]
  13. I watched a lot of Buxton highlights on the MSP news over the last few years, but wow is he injury prone.
  14. No, not a lock, but he easily could be if he stays healthy. He D is ready and CF is the easiest place to deal with a good D, light stick player. If not, we still have Ray and Taylor in CF (for 2023).
  15. After sifting through the FA list, it seems like a very unusual year at least for positional players. Kris Bryant is the only person that really interests me in that whole list (ignoring Freddy Freeman as I don't see him moving). I understand why Manny Pina went so quickly as FA catchers are really thin. I loved Pina, but I think it is a good time to move on. We have some young depth and Manny's age becomes and issue at some point. That is a good position to work in our younger players. You can start with Feliciano and de-risk him as backup with Fry and a MiLB vet signing. Likewise for OF. We have Yellich, Cain, JBJ, and Taylor signed. Mitchell is about a year away (nice Cain replacement timing), Corey Ray is probably ready to fill in at OF as needed this year, Lutz and Wiemer are more like 2 years away. And I think our best chance at improvement here is with Yellich getting healthy and JBJ regressing to his mean. Where I'd like to see us improve our offense is at 3B and 1B (or perhaps DH). We don't have much in the pipeline there and have replacement level bats filling those spots right now. That is probably where our FA $$ would be best spent.
  16. At one point in my career, I was managing a team of software engineers in Detroit, so I travelled there to meet everyone. I showed up at 8AM and the office was nearly empty (just a few people). Then people started showing up at 9AM. Felt weird, but seemed pretty common.
  17. Realize that you just called several of us suckers. I'm guessing you probably wouldn't appreciate someone calling you that. I purchased mine in 2011 and was glad I did it. I take pride in being part of why a major sports team can reside in the smallest pro-team city in the world. I love hearing (like on Sunday) that a city of 100k people fills a stadium of 80k+ people. And while it isn't much... I do have the option to attend the owners meeting (in Lambeau) every year.
  18. Or how about those invasive Asian carp that jump out of the water when you drive a boat past.
  19. [sarcasm]You're expecting the Bears to win it???[/sarcasm]
  20. I'm pretty sure everything in Door county is more than $2.
  21. I've noticed that different time zones do things at different times. For example, I noticed that in all three of my Central Time zone based jobs, most people start work at 8AM. But for the people I've worked with in Detroit (GM, Ford, etc.) often started at 9AM. I'm assuming at least part of that is because TV shows run at the same time in those timezones (news at 10PM central/11PM eastern), but maybe there are other reasons local areas seem to trend differently like that.
  22. I got one in 2011. One is enough for me.
  23. Can't be as bad as the Shark Tank and Amazon nurse commercials that are run on YouTube TV ad nauseam. Ad. Nauseam. Pun FONT!
  24. Also depends on the severity of the sprain. Not all strains are equal. Given that Jones never went into the locker room for an MRI or other closer analysis, I'd take it to be on the less severe side.
  25. I thought for certain CB was going to be our weakness after Jaire went down. Douglas has been amazing. Stokes has been great. Even King has been good after returning from injury. Just imagine if Jaire can come back this year and look like himself.
