  1. I have to admit... the clip of the cheesehead's disappointment and the Lion fan laughing at him was pretty funny... even if I felt his pain.
  2. We didn't wait long...
  3. Who is the best player left from Georgia? That has to be it, right?
  4. Wow! We just picked Joshua Karty, PK from Stanford!
  5. Third time is the charm???
  6. Antuan Edwards, S - First-round pick #25 Packers 1999 Oof... we don't have a great DB record here...
  7. Ahmad Carrol - First-round pick #25 Packers 2004 Just sayin...
  8. This might be the first time anything has been measured by the release of Agent Cody Banks 2.... Frankly, I'm still waiting to see it... only 2047 other movies on the list ahead of it. 😂
  9. @BrewerFan has the NFL draft on the brain. 😅
  10. If @wiguy94 was calling Fear the Chorizo irrational, the post would've been block and a warning issued. In reviewing the comment, I believe the "irrational people" was referring to the actions of the interpreter (in the context of @Fear The Chorizo's comment). I don't want to derail the discussion down this road, but I did want to clarify why it wasn't blocked. Calling forum member's names is flatly against the rules.
  11. I'm speaking more of 2 year contract. Just like the pros sign. It might be an offer, but a one-sided one that isn't binding for the player. Yes, it still would be a challenge because players wouldn't want them. But somehow just to slow down the change.
  12. I'm glad he isn't in the BIG10...
  13. Yeah, Not that it would stop Chucky, but they really need to limit it to 2 years or something like that. The every-year churn is very tiring already. I wonder when schools will start offering 2-year NIL deals instead of what they have now?
  14. Excellent job as usual @LouisEly. I've had an on-and-off man-crush with Dejean this offseason. But I'm thinking he seems like a great fit for the team. Could play safety, slot, or CB; which fits the interchangeable piece the Packers want in the backfield. He is also 21 and a 9+ RAS athleticism has him fit the mold (though I hate it when players skip the agility drills). I'm also very up on Patrick Paul. OT isn't a place for an immediate starter (unless Tom does move), so having a high upside, medium floor player sit and develop a year seems like a great plan. If they get a DeJean (DB), Cooper/Wilson (LB), Paul (OT), Bishop (S), along with later round RB and C/G, This would be a great draft.
  15. I still tend to see Myers a better G than C. Seems to me that one of his major problems is being a tick late off the snap (i.e. reach blocks or simply pulling). So if you eliminate the responsibilities of snapping the ball, he could focus more on simply executing.
  16. I only remember him taking some reps in practice at C. In the games, he either played very little or none at C. That was one of things I was watching closely because (at least last offseason), I was hoping it would happen. Even kind of expecting it as people were speculating that it was his best position. But when you play a full season at RT and rank in the top 10 (going off memory) tackles in the game... it is really hard to move him off just a valuable position for an inside role.
  17. I would assume they have a very good development program also... not only the HS itself, but JR High, Grade School, etc...
  18. Yes, this whole thing is just odd. Seems like a pre-draft smokescreen to me. Last pre-season, I was pretty vocal (can you be vocal with printed words??) about Tom moving to C, Myers to RG and having Bakh(pre-injury)/Nijman at LT/RT. But Tom barely even got snaps at C. I can't remember a single snap in preseason at C; just some at RG if I recall. After Bakh was hurt, I can understand leaving Tom at RT, but he has barely spent any time at C since he was drafted. So, calling him a HOF center now... just seems odd. I suppose we need to assume our 1st round pick is a C this year... 😅
  19. I do really sense that we will using those 5 picks in the top 3 rounds to move up. Having 11 picks this year after 13 last year just makes it feel likely. Not sure if we move up higher in the first round or move up to get 2 in the first round... but just feels like one of them is likely.
  20. Just make sure he gets his own pillow to sleep on so his neck doesn't get hurt while the concussion is healing!
  21. I'd maybe be interested... if I had time. I started a new job and a few extra personal activities... things have been hopping.
  22. So would the plan be to produce a historic list of players and ask people to pick a player to make the page? Would it be 100% of players? Just the bigger ones?
  23. The Cubs and Cardinals losing are both better than the Twins losing... just sayin'
  24. Although 174-0 is possible too! 😃
