    I know i don't "need" a girlfriend. But I've been single awhile now and when I am hanging out with my friends (i'd say all but 1 or 2 have some type of girl commitment.) it just gets a guy down. and I liked the High Life comment, that dude is so funny

    Whats bugging me, I am having a serious problem getting girls to like me . I used to never have that problem but that was in highschool. Now, it's like girls don't notice me and if they do they dont take interest. This past weekend I met a girl and things clicked but she told me her mother would never approve of me because i am 20 and she is 18. (Confusing, yes.) I am wondering if there are any bf.net posters out here my age of either male or female variety that could help me out or anyone for that matter because it is really starting to get to me. Thanks.

    It is really nice to have such great turnouts at Miller Park this year. If I lived remotely close to Milwaukee I would definitely spend my fair share of time there. I am 0-1 this year...I seen Turnbow's final home game .My have things changed.

    i think we are in need of more righty bats . dillon is coming back but kapler might be headed to his norms. with that said the team must be pretty good if we are talkin about the 4th/5th lefty option off the bench.

    I went with the Brewers tomrrow as well. CC is pitching and the other pitching options arent very good.

    When the Cubs counter a Sabathia trade with a Harden trade. And then proceed to counter the Brewers 5th starter platoon with a Harden/Marquis platoon. That is when I would get nervous

    The first game of the series is huge. I don't see the Cubs or Brewers winning 3 in a row against the other team. Therefore, whoever wins the first game of the series should at least split.

    Platoon Marquis and Harden....? That is way different then Bush/McClung. Wow. I know the injury factor is a concern with Harden but Marquis is just not good especilally as a "2" SP

    Does anybody on BF.NET participate in either one of these games on mlb.com? I had a 30 game hit streak last year and it was broken because Albert Pujols didn't play in a game and then pinch hit and lined out. 56 game streak for a million bucks is a pretty cool thing to try for the diehard baseball fan. This year has been a struggle as I have only broken 20 games one time. The team winning streak thing is more fun in my opinion even though the stakes are lower. You have to pick 27 winners in a row (1 per day) and you win season tickets to the team of your choice the following year.I got up to 9 games once this year. Tonight my picks are Ryan Braun to get a hit.. and the White Sox to win. Anyone else here playing? EDIT: Please do not use all caps in a thread title - BtA

    Whenever I think about Rickie Weeks I just wonder what it would be like if he just hit 260..270.. Many thought he would be a 300 hitter and maybe he still can but I really don't think he is a 210 hitter. As far as Yost goes, he just needs an English class or 10.
