    The hope for posters who didn't enjoy the negativity of the IGT today is this... Last year we had only 5 stretches of losing at least 4 of 5 like the stretch we are in now. Like it or not, dropping 4 out of 5 will almost assuredly bring out the negativity every time.

    I know we can hit. 1-8 is finally made of up of either proven major league hitters or guys with all the potential in the world. An adjustment has to be made. I don't know if we can expect all of the guys struggling to figure it out all on their own and at the same time. I don't know if these guys need a tongue lashing or a calming voice, but someone better do something.

    Just to clarify, I think the reason Jenkins is public enemy #1 tonight stems from the fact that he's 0-3 with 3 K's. We all know that when the year ends he'll most likely have solid numbers. It also should be starting to become common knowledge that he hits a far cry better from the 5 hole.

    Wow we are playing some really bad baseball. I get the feeling that Lee's heroic performance in St. Louis yesterday is going to be the only thing that breaks up what would have been about an 8-10 game losing streak.

    I think some of it stems from 95% of people here knowing things like Geoff Jenkins should not be batting third. And the frustration grows knowing it will take Ned two months to figure that out just like every other year. There are other things. That's just one example. People say wait till Jenkins gets hot. The actual correct sequence is...move Jenkins down to 5th in the order and then watch as he heats up.
