  1. Does anyone know "Brew City Baseball Fan" ? We agreed upon a trade in October. I sent my item to him, and I have never received the item he promised to send. I tried to resolve this via PM with him, but I have not heard from him in weeks. Any suggestions?
  2. Per MLB Trade Rumors http://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2009/12/white-sox-jj-putz-agree-to-terms.html The White Sox signed JJ Putz to a 1/3m deal. He can earn an additional 3m in incentives.
  3. ESPN made a mistake. Its the Rangers
  4. Per NBC Sports The Rangers signed Rich Harden to a 1 year, 7.5 m deal with a club option for 2011. No word on incentives yet. Edit: The club option is for 11.5 m

  6. Will 7,8,9 be Coffey, Hawkins, Hoffman or Hawkins, Coffey, Hoffman? I like the signing. Very solid bullpen.
  7. I think it would be worth picking them both up if the Brewers thought they could realistically make a run this year. They could both be flipped for prospects at the deadline if the Crew was out of it. I mentioned this about Soriano in the Corey Hart thread too.
  8. Coffey, Soriano, and Hoffman would be an amazing 7,8,9. I could get on board with moving Hart + ? for Soriano if the Crew thought they could make a run this year. I can't imagine Soriano would be hard to flip if they were struggling around the deadline too.
  9. Penny was absolute garbage last year and Wolf was not. That is why Wolf demands a larger contract.
  10. I no longer have a reason to watch ESPN. It will be a sad day for baseball when Mr. Gammons hangs it up for good.
  11. I hope the Brewers don't move him unless it's in a package for a quality starting pitcher. I'd like to see a package for Javier Vazquez. That being said, Hart's stock is about as low as it can be, and I do not want to sell low on another guy. I think Hart will have a much better season next year (I know. It would be difficult for him to be worse).
  12. Per MLB Trade Rumors http://www.mlbtraderumors...eal-with-brad-penny.html Cardinals sign Brad Penny to a 1 year 7.5 m with another 1.5 m in incentives. Seems like the Cards over payed... Classy move.
  13. From MLB Trade Rumors "USA Today's Bob Nightengale tweets that the Tigers are close to trading Edwin Jackson, "perhaps as early as today." No word on the potential destination, but we'll keep you apprised in this post."
  14. I just checked out Zaun's webpage. I hate Greg Zaun with every fiber of my being right now. He better be one gritty gamer.
  15. I'm going to win. Let's just not delay the inevitable. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  16. Be sure to get there as early as possible if you do decide to do Diamond Head. Its packed during the winter months. Personally, I think Diamond Head is a bit overrated though.
  17. I'm going to be away from my playstation from Dec 15 - Jan 19. Is there any chance we can speed up the league? Can we finish the season before I leave?
  18. It blows my mind that he is type A.
  19. 5 favorite albums of 2009 (in no particular order) 1: Street Sweeper Social Club - Self Titled 2: Monsters of Folk - Self Titled 3: Modest Mouse - No One's First and You're Next 4: Conor Oberst - Outer South 5: Bike for Three! - More Heart than Brains Honorable Mentions Flaming Lips - Embryonic Mos Def - The Ecstatic Jaydiohead NOFX - Coaster Eminem - Relapse
  20. Most people I know who majored in political science and/or history ended up going to grad school and there certainly is no money in that. Re Law School: There are no course requirements for law school. They only care about your GPA and LSAT score. If you are thinking about going to law school I suggest that you take courses in logic and writing. Re MBA: You can get into a MBA program with a political science degree, but you will have to take a bunch of undergrad business "foundation" courses before you can start your degree. My suggestion is to major in what you are passionate about. You are only a freshman now so that's bound to change a few times http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  21. What's the going rate for taxidermy if you don't mind me asking?
  22. I went to UH for undergrad so my fun was had on a very limited budget. I can only think of two things that you must do. Hanauma Bay http://www.honolulu.gov/p...ty/hanaumabay/index1.htm Pearl Harbor I suggest island hopping if you have the time. Oahu is great, but you will get a much more "Hawaiian" experience if you leave Honolulu. I suggest checking out Kauai or the Big Island. Kauai is rural and beautiful. The Big Island has black sand beaches. Aloha
  23. Do you have any evidence that indicates that the DNR cannot accurately estimate the deer population in Wisconsin? I'd argue that the DNR's count of wolves in Wisconsin is accurate because they have been monitoring the population since 1979 when there were only 25 wolves in the state.
