    I think that is pretty much human nature. No one likes to fail, so they build in reasons to why they fail. That is why people who can learn from failure are so successful.

    Looks like a great recruiting year by Wisconsin standards. They need to get one of the four star running backs. Maybe today? Christian Bell not coming back, maybe because of the great linebacker recruiting this year

    A couple of thoughts on the Laker game. 1.Is Wes Mathews that good on defense or is LBJ losing it a little? I think a little bit of both. 2. I love the Bucks team defense. Man do they protect the paint. 3. Great players step up. The freak is getting freaky.

    When you sign 16, 17, and 18 year old players to million dollar contracts, you are going to have to develop them somewhere. MLB is just blowing smoke and should be ashamed. Each level of MiLB has its place in developing talent and MLB knows it. They would be cutting there own throats by getting rid of or reducing MiLB.

    It looks like a good time for Donte and Frank Mason to step up. Maybe this is the opportunity for Mason to show he can be a true NBA backup point guard on a championship caliber team.

    Being out of state I don't get to see many games, bur I thought the defense and sharing the ball last night was looking very good. It looks like they are coming together well!

    They need to back the barge. I'm serious. Have Groshek as the wildcat QB, Taylor as the Z flanker who goes in motion across the formation. You can't match up speed with OSU, so don't - match up with your strength, big-boy football. Send Taylor in a jet sweep across the formation pre-snap - he will draw attention from the defense. When one of the most prolific RBs in the history of college football goes across the formation in a jet sweep, it will draw the defense. If only one defender follows Taylor, then you have Taylor 1-on-1 against a defender, and I like those odds - if it's a DB, he can overpower him, if it's a LB he can outrun him. If they have two defenders follow Taylor across the formation, it creates an extra blocker advantage on the strong side for Groshek to run behind. QB - Groshek, Z - Taylor LT - Van Lanen, LG - Lyles/Moorman, C - Biadasz, RG - Erdmann, RT - Bruss, XT - Beach, XT - Seltzner, TE - Sampson, TE - Ferguson If they sell out on the run, do what James White did and throw a short pass over the line to a TE or eligible lineman who sneaks behind the defense. It's one of the few plays that levels the playing field against OSU. I have been waiting for this formation for two years. It is time to empty the cookie jar.

    You post this comment literally the exact same day we traded Grisham after years of patience with him and are selling at what could very well be his peak value. This is ironic. Maybe, or maybe he explodes. You just cannot read the future. Look at Brinson? Ray? I always liked Grisham better than those two.

    There are only nine teams that reside in a state with higher state income taxes than Wisconsin (five of them inside California). Property taxes are also very high. That being said we do have great weather.

The refs are reviewing it and... they agree with you.[/sarcasm] Ro-Lo might start on a few teams, but I'd be surprised if any of the others could. Korver has the talent, but too old to start regularly. The rest are backups on any team. I like the depth we have, but that was a bit too optimistic, IMO. Lopez 36 Brown 7 Wilson 3 Connaughton 2 DiVincenzo 0 Korver 0 I would argue that Donte and Wilson could start on most average to below average NBA teams. There is no doubt that these six are way better than most teams 8th through 13th players. I would only ask Bud one request...play Pat Connaughton more, I would not mind seeing him start in the place of WMJ. I just love the way he plays.

    Agree 100%. Let GA drive and then dish rotate the ball to KK and let it fly. GA works for the offensive rebound … if needed!

    I hop they go I formation and run isolations on their mlb. I don't think MSU can stop that . Then do a little play action out of the same formation.
