  1. Not that it makes it okay for Weeks to continue to struggle, but at least it didn't bite us in the rear this time.
  2. What did Weeks do? WGN is showing some non-baseball crap tonight. Nice to see the great defense continues. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/frown.gif

  4. Dear Brady Clark-- Hit the ball harder next time. He had time to move. Sincerely, The Cubs
  5. Well, Vampire has his run for the game. Hopefully, he can hold the lead. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/sick.gif
  6. Probably a Red Sox fan. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/happy.gif
  7. Wow. Geoff Jenkins just drew a walk. I think I'm going to faint.
  8. My first chance to see Prince play. Wow is he a big boy. Like father, like son I guess.
  9. Greg Maddux gets a 3-0 lead, and then we run ourselves into a stupid first out? Not a good start.
  10. That sucks. C'mon Tomo...get out of this!
  11. We used Podsednik/Durrington and Podsednik/Magruder a couple times last year. Is that worse? http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/happy.gif
  12. Why is Geoff Jenkins still on the team?
  13. I guess this is our punishment for signing a 35-year-old catcher. Ugh. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/sick.gif
  14. Does it matter? They'd just find another way to screw it up. I'm sick of the excuses. They have four hits in six innings off a pitcher who came into the game with a WHIP of 1.68. How many of the other 16 guys that Nomo has retired can cry about their crappy luck? Two lucky double plays shouldn't sink the entire offensive effort against a terrible pitcher.
  15. They have four hits off HIDEO NOMO. I understand that lineout double plays are sometimes bad luck, but this team deserves bad luck, being that they have four hits off HIDEO NOMO. That's freaking pathetic.
  16. Hey Rickie...We're all behind you and all, but even though you replaced Junior Spivey, you realize you don't have to BE Junior Spivey, right? Ugh. We're going to lose to Nomo. If this isn't a cue that this coaching staff couldn't get a team of All-Stars to hit consistently, I don't know what is. (I suppose Nomo's just pitching well. It couldn't possibly be a sign of a recurring problem that a piece of crap pitcher is shutting us down.)
  17. Helms < Jenkins http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif
  18. We're Brewer fans. We almost always feel this way.
  19. So the Brewers aren't the only team that sucks with RISP, apparently. And, no, it doesn't make me feel better.
  20. Why isn't Jenkins playing tonight? How is he supposed to bust out of that slump with a 3 HR game when he's not even in the lineup? http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/roll.gif
  21. Thanks to O, we're only 1/2 with RISP today instead of 1/3. Then again, we ran ourselves out of a potential third run, and that's kind of annoying because it seems to happen a lot.
  22. If I'm pitching against Bill Hall right now, I'm rolling the ball up to the plate. Why bother risking leaving a pitch belt-high?
  23. "Straight ball, I hit it very far. Curve ball, bats are afraid."
  24. Waechter is freaking terrible. Then again, so are the Brewers, so this doesn't really surprise me. Someone tell Prince that it's okay to take a pitch or two. It's okay not to try to be like the rest of the team.
