    Just for me, the best thing about the Bucks playing a bit better is that we get less of the "Bucks should move" and "who cares about the NBA" posts. These next 5 games will see if they can grab the #8 (or even the #6), or struggle to stay in the mix. Hopefully the assist-count stays as high as last night!

    I didn't know Farve was an NBA star. Certainly no dramatic NFL stars. And I'm pretty sure the Twins had Mauer-issues. ESPN thrives on the Red Soxs/Yankees soap opera.

    I dont mind the trade in the fact that a) saves $, b) waiting for Andrew to get healthy seems pointless and c) it does boost them a bit this season. The style of play has to be up-tempo. Obvioulsy. I don't know how they will defend enough. There are some defenders on the team, but might not be enough of them, or enough shots to go around. Regardles, it's still interesting. ...does it feel the Bucks are still digging out from the Ray Allen trade?

    Interesting show last night. Looks like a great final next Sunday.

    I didn't hate Dale. He was annoying, but there has to be a character who tries to hold on to the past or thinks of a better life. Dystopian common-fare. I also praised Rick for not shooting the kid. He couldn't with his son standing there, and it would have fundamentally changed him.

    Not sure this is the right place to post this, but Doug was in my school today. He visited with some students, toured the school (with wife and new baby). He spent about 10 minutes chatting with me. Signed a ball for my little girl and let me take a couple of photo's with him. I asked him how he was feeling, and he said great. Hoping that he gets a spring invite and go from there. I also thanked him for beating the Cubs for us in his Milwaukee years. It was great. I tried hard not to act like a 12-year old girl.

    Skiles has found a role for Steve Jackson. That has helped. This team is kind of fun to watch. I wonder if BJ plays more smoothly (lack of a better term) with a smaller, or second-option at the 5. Nothing against Bogut. Just a thought.

    Hammond got off to a nice start, but not like it was rocket science trying to clean up that roster. I'd keep Andrew. He wants to play in Milwaukee and has some skills. This is the year that we will find out (for the most part) what Brandon's upside is. I sort of like the MDJ sign if he is used as a 12-15 minute-a-game shooter off the bench. I don't hate Gooden as much as others. He has some vaule (maybe not for the price, but on the floor). But again, he has to have his minutes limited. If is handled as a "platoon-player", his value on the floor increases. Just my random thoughts. The rotations on this team will be...interesting.
