  1. Why trade Yo when the organiztion would then need to turn around and look for top of the rotation guys still under team control? If this was 2014, I'd consider it, but not now.
  2. As for Ned Yost--I'd rather be waterboarded than have him manage the team again. ...water boarding is so 2005.
  3. Id say that other then Ryan, Yo and Lucroy (maybe Thornberg and Fiers) anyone can go. ...want to add...I have a good grasp of the obvious.
  4. How about George Webb's? If they score more than 30 in a quartet, the whole 6/$5 deal.
  5. I give you an "amen" Adamds22! Preach it!
  6. This is a good point. While losing stinks, this might free DM from any flickering hope and begin to seriously look to move who he can.
  7. I think they may play Ersan a bit at the 3. I dont mind the deal. They had to go the extra year to keep him. If (big if) he continues to add to his game, he could become a fairly priced asset if the need comes to flip him I like the idea of moving Drew and an expiring contract for a swing-man. As pointed out, a "bad" contract at a place of need is easier to tolerate. Dallas or the Suns makes some sense.
  8. The bullpen? Agreed. I always blame management.
  9. I live west of Eau Claire and from time to time I flip on the Twins game and listen to Corey.
  10. I really like Hart. However, the 'Crew needs to beat the market at some positions and if Matt can play 1st next year...
  11. Lamb might be able to play a bit at point, too. He will have a bigger impact this year then Henson
  12. Is Ersan on the move?
  13. Perry the 3rd. Roll the dice!
  14. Most of these rags should pay us to bother with their "content."
  15. Lets just make him the closer for Milwaukee now.
  16. Put up a photo of Bill Hall...pitching...with a cheese sandwich...
  17. While it's not my cash on the barrel...wow...$125 million locked up into one starting pitcher seems like quite the gamble for the 'Crew. If payroll is truly capped about about $100 million per season, Zack will take 20% of that. If this was the NBA, sure...but not sure this is a good approach for the Brewers. I love Zack too, but I don't know...
  18. Perry Jones seems interesting. I'm only 1/2 joking when I say I'd just as soon see the Bucks dump extra cash on Ilyasova and shoot, let him be the back-up at the #2. Typically, they are only going to play a rotation of 8 or 9 anyway. Both Jennings and Ellis play big-time minutes. If either go down for a period of time, they are sunk anyway. ...too bad Ray wants to win...be nice for him to come home for one last season...
  19. What a great game. I love baseball played this way (and the 'crew winning).
  20. 8 years ago. Wow. For me, that was 3 cities, 3 jobs, 5 homes and one marriage ago. Time sure goes by!
  21. Augie is right. He will get his shot blocked.
