I enjoyed the final Battlestar. Maybe not what some of us were looking for, but all-in-all it was alright. Ends a great run of TV. I'm in full geek-mode I know, but Friday nights are not going to be the same for awhile. "What do you hear, Starbuck" "Nothing but the Rain, sir." -

Was there on Saturday. All the games were fun, but D-4 is usually pretty cool as most of the towns seem to turn out. -

So today I had a kid tell me that he should only have to take classes from teachers he "likes." Reasoning was he can't learn from a teacher he hates. So, I bite and ask the boy why he "hated" so many teacher. The response...they expect him to be on-time for class and "that's not how he rolls."

What if Ken is willing to PH (I know, PH for a position player is crazy-talk in Milwaukee) for Kendall later in games? Wouldn't that make him in the leadoff spot more...interesting? -
I'm hoping that .OPS might be the image developed...except it's for a division opponent, so maybe not.

That's funny! I was there when Manny pitched. Was pretty fun. Usually good games. I do not like the Twins at all (near my Cubs hatred) but I can at least respect their organization. If I recall correct, the MET was owned by the municipality so the Twinkies didn't have much choice but to move to the Dome in 1982.

Jodo, that is right about where I was last year, too.

I got to the Dome every year as it is a closer trip then MP. If you can get inside the bases, the seats are not to bad. Second deck is OK. If you go in with the idea that the place is a dive, then you will have an Ok. The place is unique, that's for sure.

I'll disagree on the 'all he does is score.' When all he was asked to do was be the shooter in a bunch of sets ran for him; it's hard to blame the player for that. This year, when asked to be part of an offense and required to defend (as opposed to that stupid soft 2-3) he was demonstrating to be more then adequate. Similar thing can be said about Andrew. When he has had the opportunity to do more then set screens he has been a much improved offensive player.

True, but I'll suggest that the difference between LeBron (top 3 in the game) and Redd (top 25) is far greater then you are considering.

Just an opinion statement, but I'd guess that Redd is for-sure one of the top 25 players in the league.

I work at a high school, so the terms "like", "ya know" and my all-time favorite "whatever" are frequently applied in every social situation.
