  1. I'm bias. Been a fan for about 25-30 years. It was neat to see him and the energy the show had. About another hour would have been great.
  2. 2 in a row...Nice to have Bogut back.
  3. I do recall something like that from Stern; that shortly he saw a need for a new arena for the Bucks to remain viable.
  4. But if that group was out there (in Seattle) I'd assume they would have made a play for the Sonics before they moved. Again, just assuming, but in the current economic times I'd venture to guess the likely hood of a new arena being constructed in Milwaukee or anywhere might be a couple of seasons. Just thinking out loud, but I wonder if that actually could work to keep the Bucks in the Bradley Center even longer if an outside group was interested?
  5. I know this could change, but didn't their city government refuse to do anything with Key Arena?
  6. After watching last night's Badger game I was thinking about abducting Wes Matthews (either Sr. or Jr.) and drop him off @ Bo's house.
  7. I'd assume that is correct. Would be interesting if it could be measured somehow.
  8. "Which is exactly why no one in their right mind would argue that a strikeout isn't worse than a ball in play. That's not what's being debated, however. An out vs. an out." ...fair enough. I suppose I have heard "well I'm glad he strikeouts so he didn't hit into a double play" manta enough that I jump to the conclusion that all whom don't have a loathing for strikeouts also subscribe to this perspective.
  9. Agreed on that. Like him or not (and I tend to be a fan of Redd) this isn't good either way. You can't contend if you can't get in. I hope I'm wrong, but I don't see how Milwaukee can be one of the top 8 w/o Redd. Only slight positive is the chance to get get a real good look at Sessions.
  10. "I don't think this has anything to do with the Redd haters. I may be wrong, but I'm guessing that none of the Redd haters were really hoping Redd would go down with a serious knee injury. I guess I could be considered a Redd hater, although I think hate is too strong of a word, and I think this sucks. The Redd haters wanted Redd traded, so something would come back to the team. Now he has no trade value at all, and probably won't until the final year of his contract as an expiring." ...now if you read what I actually wrote was that anyone who thinks the Bucks are better off w/o Redd will get to test their theory. Pretty sure I didn't say anyone wanted him to get hurt. If you can find that anywhere it what I originally authored; then I apologize...I'll give you I could have used a different term other then the 'Redd haters'. That would be more appropriate to the MJS board.
  11. Dang...While I'm sure they defend just as well, if not better the offensive end of the floor could get to be brutal. I guess the Redd haters will now see what Milwaukee looks like w/o their best player.
  12. That is a good point, demonstrats a domino effect.
  13. Who would have guessed it was Craig all this time?
  14. I wonder if Ben's camp is really regretting turning down arby?
  15. If Pudge would be signed, could the 'Crew carry Vinny too and have him be the 3rd catcher so eitther Pudge or Kendall could also be PH (Vinny to for that matter)?
  16. Bo has done an outstanding job, bur his teams have never defended as well as in the Bennett era.
  17. I'm sort of hoping that when I take my yet unborn grandkids to the games we will see his likeness next to Robin Yount.
  18. Dick's teams always defended better then this.
  19. Because Redd can score. RJ is not the player that Redd is.
  20. Trading away RJ is much different then Redd.
  21. The Bucks just need to take care if they move Redd. That is a lot of offense to replace. I know his game isn't perfect an all that, but w/o him (or a viable replacement) this team will really, really stuggle to score. We saw that at the start of the year.
  22. I saw Barry @ MP in April of 2001. He hit a HR (3 run shot I think) but then also dropped a flyball in Left that allowed the 'Crew to win.
  23. "That would mean we'd have one of the 2 or 3 worst defenders in the league at third base, first base, second base and left field plus who knows in right field. A million times over, no thank you." ...it would be intersting...
  24. High School Musical 3 was not bad. Not the film #2 was, but still solid. Nice way to wrap up the trilogy.
