  1. Not that this matters a ton, but he was a top-fight closer (Bush) as Wake.
  2. I know this has been posted before, but I think the 'Crew has/had some 'closers in waiting' in Bush and Seth. Agreed that they have more vaule being successful in the rotation, but I'd be willing to try either in the pen as needed.
  3. Vegas...Lyndon Station...
  4. I would assume then relief pitchers would be measured better by Whip and BAA has more value in starters as they log a lot more innings. Is there another tool or measure I should look at?
  5. I'm not the greatest at evaluating statical tools (I'm a lemming). Which of these is the 'better' indicator of a pitchers success? Would one be more useful for examining a starter as opposed to a reliever? Appreciate the feedback.
  6. Bill Hall will remember that he is Bill Hall and these are the Reds. Maybe Russell has something going on that we don't know about (injury, previous engagement...)?
  7. Do the gorillas think the Farve deal is good for GB?
  8. Salomon Torres and Billy Castro.
  9. I'd think that the 'Crew could at least PH for Kendall as the situation might dictate. I also wonder why Ned couldnt make a chance behind the plate in the blowouts (like the last two Cubs games) like he will with some of the other position players.
  10. Their choice, I'm not picky.
  11. I thought for sure we would see Gabe today. Craig is an odd choice, but I defer to Ned's wisdom.
  12. If you think of it this way Jay; how old are you going to be if you don't do it now and put it off? Just go and get the job done. I was 27 when I finished my undergrad, actually had a much more mature approach at that point in life. I'm sure it will go well.
  13. Anything north of 15 wins would be very nice.
  14. What if the emo kids counterattack? This could get ugly an indifferent. Cue The Cure!
  15. Need to get some wins on the road and create some space (positive) in the Wild Card. Might have one more run @ the sCrubs in Sept.
  16. I vote for Mike Rivera, it would be cool if he popped off
  17. Well, that is shaking things up a bit. Guess that is one of the few tools a manager really has.
  18. Boy, going over 5 years is a crazy risk for this franchise. If either could be signed for 5 years or less ($100-120) I suppose keeping one would be ok...but those 4 picks are pretty darn valuable too.
