  1. Nope, glad it's not just me. Tickets won't be loaded to the ballpark app until March 1 according to my rep. I can't even see my 20 pack tickets yet. Thanks for posting this. The confirmation at the end of the transaction was misleading and indicated you could view them immediately. Also, I never received any confirmation email, which is odd. Anybody else receive a confirmation email? I was on my phone when I made the purchase so I literally have no record of the transaction other than my CC bill at this point.
  2. Agree and agree... BTW he's still safely over .200 currently for 2 more ABs.
  3. I'm with you, I'm also surprised I'm the only one that took Nilsson at catcher.
  4. 2B Molitor SS Yount LF Braun 1B Fielder RF Yelich 3B Cirillo C Nilsson CF Cain P Sabathia RP Hader No tenure requirements.
  5. FWIW.. Nelson is passing the eye test from fans I know that have seen him throwing in ST so far. Was told he looks sharp and throwing hard.
  6. He pitched in 3 of the last 5 games I think... maybe they just decided they were saving him with it not being an elimination game.
  7. If Jesus doesn't get cute with the slide and just goes at the base I think he might ve got in there.
  8. It's obviously not a true "must win" situation, 3 games back with 15 to go is doable... but this is a huge game. I hope the bats wake up.
  9. My argument would then be, what would have happened had the ball actually landed fair instead of ricocheting foul? Since Lorenzen apparently didn't intentionally try to bunt it fair and it accidentally did, does he get another pitch? Or ice cream? To me squaring to bunt on a pitch sells out you are intending to bunt, and the only way you no longer are is if you completely pull the bat back and resume a hitting stance as the pitch is delivered. It's on the hitter to get the bat out of the way if they don't want it to hit the ball, no matter where the pitch is thrown. It's a strikeout. Or... what would they have ruled if the ball struck his bat more squarely, and traveled up the first base line, but rolled just foul? The ruling should be the same.... strikeout.
  10. They better teach this kid some control before he kills somebody.
  11. Can we just start our bullpen?
  12. Yep. But also think how much better we'd be if Arica and Santana hit like 2017. Or Pina, or Shaw.
  13. He's also crushing RHP (.988 OPS). Though I think he's always hit RHP better.... or struggled with LHP, however you want to look at it. Regardless, he's hitting so bring him up, that glove is a difference maker.
  14. I'm ready to see Arcia again in Milwaukee. Hes been hitting the ball well, and we could really use his glove.
  15. The article goes on to theorize that the Brewers might look at Mike Moustakas to play third. Mentions interest in Whit Merrifield, which has already been reported. And goes on to say that Aguilar is an internal candidate to play more at 3B if Shaw could play passable defense at 2nd. Interesting. Not sure I have a lot of faith in Shaw's ability to play at 2B, but if they're actually working with Shaw there in practice who knows what crazy stuff might happen. I guess I like the chances of Shaw coming out of his slump at the plate, and us not needing a 3B a lot more than the chances he has the range and/or ability to play a passable 2B. If Shaw ends up playing a solid 2B, ever, I don't think I'll be able to trust anything I see or think about this game again.
  16. So years of trash for him to maybe be a decent hitter for a few years? Sounds like a good argument to find a new SS. We need a good SS now...not in three years. We aren’t exactly rebuilding anymore. Draft and develop. If you’re going to just say screw it when your prospects struggle, this “rebuild” won’t last very long. This team is doing just fine with him starting as long as the rest keep producing. We are one of the tops in the league at saving runs. This is very un-brewers like but it’s s big reason also why we are winning games. Arcia is a big part of that. This is one of the problems with having this early rebuild success. It creates itches that probably shouldn’t be scratched. Right. He's 50 games into his season at 23 years old, and his only full year at age 22 hit 277 with 15 dingers... And plays great defense. I'm no where near moving on from him, he's still figuring things out... And hasnt been bad lately either.
  17. I literally LOL'd in my office. Cheers
  18. I wish it would've been to break up a no-hitter. If you put that shift on, laying the bunt down is absolutely appropriate... In any circumstance.
  19. You absolutely need your RF to be able to cut down runners at 3B. A weak armed RF gets abused by runners constantly taking that extra base,
  20. They're probably thinking the same thing about our moves.
  21. Those veterans played back to form that year, and the rookies developed faster than anyone thought, they had 2 or 3 potential All-Stars in there... myself included.
