  1. Thanks. I would love to make the WS but don't think I'd be able to swing the current prices.
  2. I think the Eastern Conference is there for the taking. It's just whether or not they can capitalize.
  3. I don't know why all teams don't do this. As long as you don't fumble the snap, it's almost impossible to not get 6 inches by just having your QB fall forward. Teams don't go for it on 4th nearly enough in general. Should probably never punt on the other side of the 50 in any 4th down and less than 5 to go but they almost always do and inevitably gain like 25 yards of field. OT, but this reminds me of the pop warner team a few years back that never punted. Ever.
  4. I thought DM did well to get the ball rolling on the rebuild albiet probably a touch too late. Between the Luc and Gomez trade. That definitely got us the draft capital to get us where it did now.
  5. It'll be interesting if this playoff run will be able to bump up our payroll for next year. I'm probably pulling this number out of my rear, but I thought I saw somewhere that playoffs give the team 10 to 15 million per round.
  6. I just wanted to thank you Josh for all that you have contributed to the forum. You've been able to provide insight and analysis that we wouldn't be privy to otherwise. I hope you are having a heck of a time!
  7. The next Broxton perhaps? Given our OF is rather locked up for a while, I think that would be a great role for him.
  8. 2018 has a much more confident feel to it than 2008 or 2011. Not that we shouldn't be worried, but personally I don't feel as scared as I did back then. If Thames is starting in the OF, I wouldn't freak.
  9. Is the general consensus is that WS tickets will drop on the day of?
  10. As a Racine native who frequents Kenosha a fair amount, seeing Cubs gear both worn and in shops, there's been a definite shift. Whether it's the lack of cubs fans or the influx of Brewers fans, I don't know. There's obviously a changeover though
  11. So after doing some quick Google searches, I couldn't figure out the difference between PoBO and a GM other than title/money.
  12. My two cents. I want Houston because I don't want to deal with the cold weather of Boston. I suppose that's only a penny's worth.
  13. A couple of random thoughts. 1. Coffee has been pure nectar from God lately. Coffee has an oddly calming effect for me ( until the caffiene kicks in) 2. When the Brewers were looking destined for the playoffs, I wanted my 1000th post to be about the WS win. Due to real life stuff I havnt posted much. I have a lot to catch up on. 3. I have been writing alot of lists lately.
  14. NLCS Game #1 In-Game Thread now posted and open for commentary. Let’s Gooooooo! Not going to lie, after having a bad week the first thing I thought of was the UGH. Thanks!
  15. Winner. Him or Todd Coffey Only if he sprints from the bullpen
  16. WOAH SOLVDD IIRC, this surpasses the likes of the Gomez nontrade and the cheese sandwich in thread length.
  17. I can't link it but a quick search says that it just needs to be submitted to the Commissioner's before the first game of the series.
  18. Maybe the cubs fans also think the Rockies aren't rivals /blue?
  19. If all things play out and Lester gets rocked tomorrow, the cubs are probably looking at a very quick exit.
