  1. [sarcasm]I think we can all agree that after today the cubs are 9 games above 500 at 68-50 and the brewers are 14 games above 500 at 68-54. Therefor the brewers are in first place by 5 games.[/sarcasm]
  2. I was looking ahead and the Steelers game had a not available sign by it, but now it's gone. So fingers crossed that something's been worked out. Plus I did find the Tennessee game in the dvr which was weird, not sure if the replay played and got taped or what.
  3. Trying to catch the preseason game but youtubetv is telling me its not available for streaming. Please tell me this is just a preseason thing. I'm hoping it is because I was able to watch parts of the hall of fame game last week.
  4. Well he has hit 17 home runs. Do you think he no longer deserves those home runs because he was traded? I dont understand.
  5. I would wager a guess that the fact that kc traded for perrin mean there was a decent chance they would have selected him.
  6. Without their 7-game losing streak, their record would be 65-44. What's your point? I like this game. [sarcasm]without all their wins and all their losses they would be 0-0[/sarcasm]
  7. If they did this, would any theoretical postseason time count towards service time or does it stop counting after game 162.
  8. At least they won't have to buy the guy diapers then.
  9. Good thing we have our ace on the mound to complete the sweep!
  10. [sarcasm]Geeze, who runs that team, annie wilkes?[/sarcasm]
  11. [sarcasm]Clearly, just like schoop, villar also prefers the low pressure of playing on a sucky team.[/sarcasm]
  12. I know it's "scope" but couldn't help myself thinking "shoop" when I read his name. I've decided not to change until he gets his first hit or rbi or homerun. The longer it's going the harder I'm grading him.
  13. Now that's just ridiculous. "I think I know what you are thinking when you do things and there's no way I can be wrong so I will punish you."
  14. Yeah, the team decides game time. Unless ESPN or fox pick them up for a special game, then they basically choose game time.
  15. I'm fairly sure the player can still veto. I think this came up in discussions last year with verlander and that he could still veto even if Detroit just wanted to dump him. But I'm not positive.
  16. The good thing about being on the west coast is a couple more hours for him to arrive before game time. Any word if he will make it before the game?
  17. Ultimately it depends on whose available. If we can't catch the cubs for some reason, but cruise into a wild card slot that lets us set it up, I would do chachin. If we are fighting down to the wire and can't, I wouldn't be opposed to something like burnes starting followed by harder which with luck cover the first 6 innings. However, if we are fighting down to the wire their availability would be less likely.
  18. That will make up for the first inning! And I'm off to bed on that note.
  19. For some reason yelich feels wasted at the leadoff to me.
  20. Maybe something like, man I suck against lefties. Glad I don't have to face this one.
