    I'm kinda sad that Myers is out already. Feels like one more inning would have been more than fine.

    This ump really has course over corrected after that first strike to Monty. Its like he said fine, if that's not a strike nothing is.

    Ortiz keeps making me think "I think Ortiz is my favorite", but then other players also do good things. Whoa is us we have to many good players!

    I'm torn. This was supposed to be a transition year where we get our young players feet wet, looking to next year to really compete. I would hate to pull a pirates and "go all in" only to find put we have fools gold. I would lean towards maybe shoring up the rotation with someone or 2 like a Kikuchi who would be a rental so wouldn't cost much, but is a solid pitcher who might get a bump with our better defense.

    I'm sure with this team we can bank on someone needing to go on the IL in 4 days.

    Interesting to see Ortiz and not turang at ss with adames sitting. Wonder if that's hiw they plan to go next year or if it's more of a consistency thing where turang is starting 2b so he plays 2b.

    I believe adames in on the play every day band wagon with Contreras so he will be in there.

    I wouldn't be against chourio going down when Mitchell is back. He could use some 3A time, but right now nobody else is better or on the 40 to take his spot.

    A lot of guys, mitchell, junis, bukauskas, and even devin is not too much further, on the 60 seem to be nearing returns, unless things go very bad before then, probably just being left open for the first one to return.

    Curious on that 20 million number and how it is expected to be distributed. I just kinda skimmed the article a bit and didn't see an answer, but would the school be dividing that number by their X athletes and distributing it evenly or could they give 10m to like a Caleb williams or something.

    I'll give him some credit in that I'm sure his thoughts were, I'm not going to make it, I could dive and maybe catch it, but if I miss it and it gets by me, that's game. Now with how it bounced, the hitter probably doesn't score, but how many crucify him if that does happen?

    Why weren't we at dp depth? Walking the 2 was the right call, but you just knew bell was going to get a hit, though could have been a dp with the infield back.

    I was wondering about that. Figured coming out of the all star break would be good timing because everyone is rested. I'm assuming the all star break itself wouldn't count?

    They are so pathetic. I saw a bears fan, I believe the year lovie was hired and might have been on LL, say he didn't care if they went 2-14 as long as those 2 were against the Packers. My response is I dont care if we go 14-2 and both loses are against the bears.

    Ump even tried his best to help the cards that half inning. At least according to GameDay, 5 strikes were called balls including 2 in the Donovan AB. Really nice having yeli back!
