Well if you thought you could miss a bit of the beginning of the second round you are wrong lol.
-
Using this as a spring board, say you had an agreement in place with the owner of 39 for this deal as long as your guy is still there, which of the receivers would you do this deal for? If none of them at this spot, where you would be aiming to get your top second round receiver? This question is for any of the guys here who dig into the draft deep. Just curious who I can get my hopes up for(so they can be dashed to pieces lol)
-
I'm glad I turned it off before seeing such eye destroying sights.
-
Is there a reason we should be worried about him falling if we pick him?
-
Knowing NE, this has to be a trade down right? Lol
-
Well, all I've heard is that pitt wants a qb, so they get their pick if they still do.
-
Press pause, go get some snacks maybe use the bathroom then we will be caught up with you lol.
-
Did philly just trade up for Burks now because everyone wants a wr?
-
So glad we waited 5 hours to announce the saints pick so we could talk about Thursday night footballs new "station"
-
I would love to know what they've offered so far, assuming it's true.
-
Let's get the best of both worlds now, and win 12-0 today.
-
Clearly the offense doesn't suck, they just haven't played the pirates enough.
-
I don't understand pinch hitting for huira who was on base twice tonight, but letting Cain hit who was 0-3 and sporting a sub 150 Batting avg.
-
It would be nice if we could give huira some consistent abs, but unfortunately for him the only offensive player playing well is who huira would replace. Maybe he could take time from cutch, but I don't see that happening much.

Yelich: a new (old) man or a mirage?
young guns replied to Brock Beauchamp's topic in Milwaukee Brewers Talk
Plus they want to bat Wong first, so they want to split up the lefties. -
I had posted an article earlier that said there was a rumor that Seattle basically hung up on the jets after an offer involving the 10th pick. Didn't even counter. So it seems they are dead set on keeping him or the price is astronomical or both. So if that report is true it sounds like it might take both of the firsts(or 1 this year and next years) to get Seattle to listen.

What if you were Monarch of Baseball?
young guns replied to Ulice Payne's topic in Milwaukee Brewers Talk
Basically this, but all tv revenue goes into 1 pot split evenly among all teams. Also eliminate blackout restrictions and I would also create some sort of MLB streaming service with a relatively cheap subscription price. Something like 20 bucks for the year. -
I would quit baseball forever if the Brewers made a trade like this.

"I'm sorry" I just punched you in the face!
young guns replied to NBBrewFan's topic in Off-Topic Forum
In some ways you are correct it does get annoying to be repeatedly told "I'm sorry" by someone who may or may not actually be sorry, but what do you want them to do honestly? It's something that is taught to use to deescelate the situation. As someone who has worked customer service, what I quoted honestly makes you sound like a jerk and I feel bad for the woman who was on the other end of that conversation. -
They could always start one or the other at DH and maybe sit yelich with McCutchen in left. Or sit Wong with Hiura at second.

I don't normally carry cash on me, but I needed some for a field trip for my son. I had to pick up some groceries today so thought getting some cash back would be a simple solution. Found out picknsave charges 50 cents for cash back. I don't usually shop there, but place I normally go was out of what I needed so I dont know if this is recent or not, but still pretty annoying.

3 seed worked out pretty well for us last year. Like playing the bulls in the first round better as well.
-
Hopefully the season starts soon, because these spring training games vs the cubs are bumming me out.

Sounds like anyone hoping for a trade for DK can move on. Jets offered a package around the 10th pick, reportedly, and they were told by the Seahawks they are not trading him nor even listening to offers. https://12thmanrising.com/2022/04/06/seahawks-dk-metcalf-trade-speculation/amp/

Sadly, that's exactly what I was expecting to happen when this was announced. Maybe it will take a week or 2 for them to open up a bit, but I won't hold my breath.
