  1. I gambled on taysom hill, and it went from a bad choice, to probably break about even, to evil genius in the span of about 4 game minutes.
  2. Not that it really matters, but I would go for the td instead of the fg when down. 35-0.
  3. Agreed. What a pair of snoozefests.
  4. Google and roku did finally come to a multi year agreement. Both sides praising how this deal is wonderful for the customer. No details disclosed.
  5. How was that Indiana ball? Good thing they didn't score.
  6. Was that the same year the refs blew a call on an onside kick at Oregon st? Those 2 games still pass me off, because there was pretty clear evidence of biased refing at the end of those games.
  7. Just saw on Facebook, Las Vegas bowl vs Arizona st. December 30. Is that more or less prestigious than the mayo bowl?
  8. Why? Every year in the middle of the college football season people start chirping about how they need expanded playoffs, and every year by the end of the season everything shakes out so that there are four deserving teams and no teams left out that aren't deserving. This year you have five teams in consideration - Alabama, Georgia, Michigan, Cincinnati, and Notre Dame and Cincinnati beat Notre Dame. Notre Dame only played one school that finished the year ranked and they lost to them. Really, who else deserves to be in this year? If the argument is non-Power 5 teams should be included, I agree - but that doesn't mean expansion, that means put an undefeated non-Power 5 team in the 4-team playoff. I pretty much laid out my reasoning in the rest of my post, but here's a reminder. I want to see each conference champion get a shot at it so that they all matter, and I don't want to see the sec championship not matter. I don't know how you can say that both Alabama and Georgia are both deserving just because they are swc schools when the criticism of both of them are their soft schedules. I do think Utah, Baylor, and Pittsburgh are all deserving, and it's fine if you disagree, but that's my opinion. Specifically looking at Utah, they destroyed Oregon twice and you would probably say that Oregon has a huge talent advantage between the 2, yet that's basically why Georgia would get picked over them, they are better on paper.
  9. Does Iowa not care they are down 4 scores in the 4th quarter or is their plan defensive tds?
  10. That's a good point, money shouldn't be an issue on the decision, just where he is projected.
  11. Everything coming up Cincinnati it seems. Wow. This is why we need expanded playoffs. The, "conference championship game is a defacto playoff game", point is taking a hit this year. There is a decent chance the playoff will be comprised of 2 sec teams, including the loser of the championship game, a non power 5, and Notre Dame. Obviously the big ten game just started as I'm typing this, but Michigan is not a lock to win. Ok, maybe now they are.
  12. [sarcasm]They cancel it because not enough of their favorites would qualify.[/sarcasm] Or they strongly look for a third sec team to join bama and Georgia.
  13. Fans: you both suck now make an agreement and play.
  14. Wow, I like this if only because I don't have to see jbj hit for us again. And I use the word hit loosely.
  15. Good game tonight and extra nice that it gave the big 10 the win in the challenge.
  16. And after the game he had last week too.
  17. One case where perception definitely matches the statistics. How are they as high as third worst? What two teams could possibly be worse? Without looking at it, I would guess lions are probably one of the 2.
  18. Well cobb made up fir the fumble at least.
  19. Smart of the rams to make us do special teams things.
  20. So much for just sticking cobb back there to solve it.
  21. Nijman(?) Looks like he's been getting an early start on some of these snaps.
  22. [sarcasm]He doesn't even have a fractured toe so definitely not![/sarcasm]
  23. That was a really good play by Barnes to set up the end of the drive and pressures by Smith to finish it. Nice to see after last week.
