I haven't been watching the whole game but that ball four to Torres sure looked like a strike to me.

This Bucci kid seems to be something...
  3. sfl2hnq17
Colby, what do you think about Kyle Winkler from TCU? Do you think that the Brewers would be interested?
  4. sfl2hnq17
A very good play by Prince there. Didn't look it but that was not an easy play.

I have not been a huge fan of Gomez, the previously times he has been on base he has driven the Rockies pitchers up a wall. I will give him that.

Colby I have been following the last couple of drafts and I have been reading about this one recently as well. Can you give me an idea of who might fall to the Brewers in the 2nd and 3rd rounds? Or maybe BPA's there?

I am going to say this until Draft Day. If we get Guerrieri and Norris, we should be absolutely thrilled.

I know I am probably getting a little carried away because D'Vo has been hitting the snot out of the ball lately, but think about our Outfield "Problem". The Davis brothers, Komatsu, Richardson, and Gindl; not to mention Schafer (who I haven't added simply because he has been injured which I know it isn't really fair). I am just wondering what others have to say about our outfield prospects.

After reading about Daniel Norris, I would go crazy if the brewers got him at 12. No lefty to speak of in the prospect mold in the lower levels. Passing on him would be a mistake.
  10. sfl2hnq17
I guess Austin Ross is human after all.
  11. sfl2hnq17
If Brevard County's first 4 hitters start hitting like they are tonight, the 'Tees should be a fun team to follow. Plus you have Bucci, Heckathorn and Lasker pitching for them.

I looked at his splits and Rogers isn't that bad against righties when it comes to walks (1 in 7 IP) but the lefties seem to be the problem (11 in 4 1/3 IP). I don't know the issue I just thought it was pretty interesting.

What is the scouting report on Nic Bucci these days? He has been pretty good the last few years but he never seems to crack any lists despite the fact he is a 20 year old in the FSL.
  14. sfl2hnq17
I said on draft day that i wanted alex wimmers and they didnt draft him, a tragedy to be honest. but i think im more pissed off that they didnt sign bates morris or white..... pathetic
  15. sfl2hnq17
Sometimes I feel like the control problems with most of our prospects will never go away........
  16. sfl2hnq17
Just wanted to make sure I clarified, I'm not in the bash Covery camp. It was a sarcastic comment about it being funny, it's actually pathetic. Though I was really impressed that the whole, we have no pitching prospects was clarified in the comments section (another comment oozing with sarcasm)
  17. sfl2hnq17
I haven't seen this posted, I figured I would, though most of you have probably already read it. (The comments section is pretty funny to read, from people not knowing the 21 year old draft rule and not knowing about draft compensation) http://www.jsonline.com/blogs/sports/100195954.html

Wily haven't an off day it seems like today.
  19. sfl2hnq17
Evan Frederickson, um he should pitch like this all the time..... I'm just saying.
  20. sfl2hnq17
i think lasker, based on performance would be making some head-way on any list, that involves good brewer farm system pitching after these last two years.
  21. sfl2hnq17
how is odorizzi pitching tonight, milb.com isnt refreshing and i havent been able to get the audio to work.
  22. sfl2hnq17
i think after all the innings he pitched at indiana and helena combined we should be glad his arm is still attached. i wish we could get our first round pick from this year signed.
  23. sfl2hnq17
maverick lasker had a really good game going too
  24. sfl2hnq17
is that tony butler from oak creek high school on azl brewers?
  25. sfl2hnq17
so bucci is really starting to disappoint me.....i know his era was going to go up considering his whip but i did thinking he would figure out the control part.
