And Nyjer gets his first RBI of the year ... On June 1st.
-
I agree with this. Weeks has looked horrible, but he will bounce back ... We need the old Weeks back more than we need a replacement experiment.

The sac bunt leads to an IBB to Ryan Braun
Bombers replied to Bombers's topic in Milwaukee Brewers Talk
Probably not - it just annoyed me ... Maybe this should just be moved to the random thoughts thread -
Twice yesterday, we had Aoki sac bunt in front of Braun. Both times they just intentionally walked Braun. Unless Ramirez is on fire at the plate, I don't ever want to see that again.
-
Ya lets never do that again
-
Nevermind
-
Maaartttiiiinnn!! Damn!
-
Not only can weeks not find the ball when he is at the plate ... Now he can't find it when he gets a glove on it
-
Team policy, all players must play 1 inning with an injury, then reevaluate. Lol
-
If Gomez is sill hurt why is he playing? Put him back on the DL ... I don't want a nagging injury all year
-
Great game ... Keep it going

Martin Maldonado making 1st MLB start tomorrow (Tuesday)
Bombers replied to 3and2Fastball's topic in Milwaukee Brewers Talk
I am very impressed with his defense. If he can just hit ok and take some walks I will be happy. But from a defensive standpoint this kid looks awesome -
Congratulations on an awesome 1st start Mr. Fiers ... Now let's get him a W
-
He can't hit, what makes you think he can bunt? I think it is wishful thinking at this point that he can contribute someway
-
Hahaha
-
And that is why you take your .150 hitter and bunt the lead off single over
-
Good call - he does
-
Good call - he does
-
Way to go Weeks ... You are absolutely horrible this year
-
Lol ... That sounds about right
-
There is a part of me that would just prefer Aoki in CF, Hart in RF, and Green at 1B ... All the time. Not this once a week stuff
-
Great game by Fiers ... Let's get the guy some runs here
-
Beating out Kemp for the MVP alone would've gotten him boos. The perception that he cheated to get it only makes things worse. I'd wager many of the people there don't know he's an LA guy. I'd wager many people there don't know where Milwaukee is. Great play by Maldonado! That was a great play ... And when I travel, many times I have had to say Milwaukee is 2 hrs north of Chicago

Braun throws a foul ball in the stands and the fan throws it back on the field ... And then some more chanting. Braunie is due up ... Hopefully he has one of those great hitting days
-
Great first inning by Fiers!
