  1. You could ask Lucroy to drop a suitcase on his hand and call up Scooter.
  2. Nice, Kinzler making the argument over the bunt a mute point.
  3. This is on rrr. Zero excuse for not having the pen ready. Sorry rrr, forgot you are actually in the clubhouse right now.
  4. Baseball is a funny game. Not many other sports where a team can go from doing nothing right to nothing wrong in a week.
  5. Agree, Segura all but locked up the two hole. What he brings is what they need in that spot. Speed, contact, and high obp. I am actually not even sure I want him bumped once Hart is back pending he hasn't gone ice cold.
  6. This is a series the Brewers should win. Here is to Aoki getting back on track and Rickie doing anything productive with the bat.
  7. I fairness to Wily the def let him down in his last start. He was doing well until he had to get 5 outs in the 3rd and it was downhill from there. Here is to him keeping it together and the Crew getting the sweep and above .500.
  8. I'm with you. IMO he should be up already. The two lefties in the pen can't get lefties out so they have no real value. Gonzalez can go as far as I'm concerned. At least Gorgonzola has some value in long relief.
  9. I think they need to find a way to get Olmsted in the pen. I always hear about how the Cardinals always have lots of relievers with electric stuff why can't the Brewers develop relief pitching? They do they just never really give young guys a shot. They have a ko machine sitting in Nashville that should be in the pen. Olmsted had a rough first outing, but since then has pitched 7 innings giving up zero ER and has k'd 9.
  10. Ennder, I am with you but RRR better have that bullpen ready to go.
  11. Marco shouldn't have never been out there for the 5th. There was a chance he could have imploded...
  12. I get sticking with the line up, but keeping Weeks at clean up makes no sense. As long as they win I guess I don't care, but it shows how stubborn RRR can be. This is reminding me of the Gomez in the 2 hole saga from a couple years ago.
  13. Yo walking guys he should own. Why pitch around a weak bat in the 8th spot. Go after that guy so they can't clear the pitcher.
  14. Yeah, I was in shock that the Angels agreed to trade him for Greinke. I think that it is going to end being one of the all-time worst trades ever for the Angels. They traded a very talented SS for a few months of Greinke. The Angels failed to make playoffs and failed to keep Greinke. That's pretty bad. Segura's got the potential to be a superstar. Melvin did a good job with that trade. Segura was always a solid prospect, but never a top prospect. He was never inside the top 50 and 2012 was his first year at SS. I think he will be great, but it wasn't like the Angels gave us a top 5 guy at the time the trade was made. Because Segura's 1st year at SS was 2012 the prospect rankings are meaningless to me. I knew once he found a position and was healthy, the sky was the limit with him. He's grown as a hitter since the trade like many thought he would, and the power will follow in time. He's a great prospect. Top tier talent. There is a reason the Angels gave up Segura, Hellweg, and Pena. He actually started out hot as a prospect and regressed as he advanced through the Angels system. Brewers got him at his lowest point in his career. Glad we got him.
  15. Yep, only of those guys that gets to the bigs and puts it all together. Very excited about him.
  16. His last 2 outing have been scoreless. Most of the outs in those innings have gone to the warning track. He still makes me very nervous.
