  1. Let's not forget that LeBlanc always had good stuff. He had moments of success. Perhaps the Brewers have something they like with him that the pitching lab can help with....like Chacin's slider or Miley's cutter
  2. I blame Maille for that HR. After setting up down in the zone on most pitches, that pitch he was set up belt high down the middle
  3. Still loving AT&T TV. Only issue is one month we ran into our Cox internet cap. But that’s just one of 12 months.
  4. So does Milwaukee not have a mask requirement? I haven’t seen a fan this week wearing one
  5. I think Rasmussen may one day be a good MLB pitcher, but he has no business on an MLB roster.
  6. I like this rule, but it shouldn’t happen till the 12th inning. The fool here is who put Rasmussen into a close game. He should be your long reliever in a blowout, or in the minors
  7. Typical. As we’ve said before, Rasmussen is the new Taylor Williams. Great stuff but more gas can than fireman
  8. I caught my first foul ball off the bat of Joe Oliver in the Memorial Day game when Kevin Seitzer was beaned in the jaw by a Twin...was it Scott Erickson or Kevin Tapani?
  9. I get what he's saying. The baseline isn't technically a line between bases, but rather whatever is established by the player. BUT, Diaz does not move to the right one bit. He stays on his path until he's already out. And Godley doesn't make any move into his path.
  10. Sure looked like he even made contact with that bunt attempt. On replay the ball spin changes
  11. As usual, I don’t envision the Packers taking a WR until the 3rd or 4th round. Why take a receiver high in the draft when Rodgers hasn’t thrown to a rookie since Cobb?
  12. As a teacher and coach, there’s not a single study I’ve seen that says specializing is good. College coaches want safeties that played CF, point guards that played soccer or football, etc etc. every year I see very good high school athletes quitting their sports because they specialized too much, too soon. Remember youth and high school sports aren’t a career, but are about fun and teaching life lessons/skills. Once a kid gets to college, sports become a job.
  13. good to see Howell at SS
  14. My understanding is that the Treasury is launching an effort to go after people collecting capital gains from cryptocurrencies. They believe they've missed out on a massive amount of money due to people not reporting capital gains. Additionally governments have some reason to be skeptical of cryptocurrencies, as they've become the preferred currencies for North Korea, drug cartels, and terrorist organizations. Governments don't like that things aren't as traceable or controllable, but that's kind of the point of crypto.
  15. I've always wondered why a team in extra innings doesn't walk the leadoff hitter to set up a potential double play. to clarify, I mean with the runner on 2nd rule in effect
  16. Didn't Jaime Navarro flirt with a couple in 1992? Also, Chris Saenz with a memorable one. Steve Woodard gave up the leadoff hit in Toronto (wasn't it like Otis Nixon?) while facing the Rocket
  17. One challenge with looking at upturns in positive tests is that since early January, people have been choosing not to get tested. With no major holidays around grandma, people have decided testing is optional. Since positive tests are reliant on people getting tested, it’s skewed low right now. At one point in AZ in early Feb, people were noting the huge decline prematurely because new cases were dropping, but the state was also having only 1/10th of their desired amount of tests being run. I’m sure it’s the same everywhere.
  18. I really wish we had Topa....Rasmussen wasn’t good in the bigs in 2020 and has been brutal so far this year. He seems like the new Taylor Williams--young guy with incredible arm but basically throws batting practice. I hope he figures it out, but at present he has no business being in tight games. Lots of talent and hopefully a bright future.
  19. Some people still print boarding passes for flights as well.
  20. Ordered it for my condo in Montana and we were told 80mb speeds initially, pushing towards 200 by the end of summer. Tech guy is hooking it up this week. I can report back then
  21. This makes sense for a lot of reasons. Cain is probably best if he plays 120-125 games. Yelich usually misses 10-20 games with injuries (I think it's been back injuries mostly, not counting the fluke knee injury). Garcia plays hard, but didn't perform like an every day played. So to me it's easy to pencil in Yelich for 135-140 games, Cain 120-125, Garcia 110-120, Bradley 120-130
