    Frelick IS among the "weakest" hitters in MLB, but he didn't get all of that one. Good angle, missed the sweet spot.

    Agreed...but he also at has to have a leg to hit from 55 in a pinch, even if that is only at the end of halves.

    I am guessing it was a concession to Bisaccia who coached Anders' brother in Oakland. Rich prolly liked the guy/family and thought he'd be good to work with...enough so that he didn't want to risk letting another team get him.

    EXACTLY. It's hilarious that after basically a delay of game penalty it's just fine for a manager to come out and argue with the ump for 2 minutes ABOUT THE DELAY OF GAME penalty....

    It's less than ideal...but with a 4 run lead in the 6th it doesn't aggravate me as much as if he walked the bases loaded. First pitch, trying to get ahead in the count after a long battle with the previous hitter who got a single.

    As an aside, the Dodgers screwed the pooch by NOT having the contact play on with guys on 2nd and 3rd with 1 out. They may win anyway, but it was STOOPID

    For the Younguns- Probably the greatest comedy ever--by a director not known for comedy. Peter Sellers with perhaps the best acting performance of all-time playing 3 main-ish characters. When watching this movie, think about watching this movie IN 1964...

    Just a nails performance from Rea...and it hopefully isn't done. The closeout portion of the BP has been well-worked the last few days. I wouldn't complain about a CG SO.
