  1. Please list all the full season World Series Championships THIS CENTURY from these traditionally "big boy" or recent "go for it", "all-in", "sink-your-teeth-in" franchises: New York Yankees, Los Angeles Dodgers, San Diego Padres, New York Mets.
  2. Hey @bigred, are you related to @jefferyleonard?
  3. Even all the pirated sited that SAY it's Brewers-Padres is actually Braves-Yankees.
  4. I subscribe to Ballys AND mlb.tv and YouTube tv. Cannot get the game because the local FOX station is playing Braves-Yankees. Dumb,
  5. "Say Hey!!" Yeli! More basket catches please.
  6. Yeah, the end of the bullpen has really fallen off recently....Hopefully Hall, DWill, and maybe Bukauskas can provide much needed relief for the relief corp.
  7. Milner has not been what he once was...which still wasn't ever quite as good as Koenig or Hudson. has been this year. Considering the roster crunch I would dangle him out there as trade bait for somebody looking for lefty relief help.
  8. I'm just saying that I'd rather be us than them right now....STRANGE opinion around here, I know.
  9. What a frustrating game for the Padres....their bullpen is in shambles too.
  10. MIL is 44-31 with a mediocre-at-best roster/talent. SD is 39-40 with all-stars and 9 figure contracts up and down the lineup and rotation. I sure hope we aren't taking strategic notes from them.
  11. I'm not too concerned about the abundance of OF. Everybody has options (except Bauers, which is annoying), so just play the guys most deserving and rotate the rest on the bench and through Nashville. Re-evaluate in the offseason. If somebody comes calling for a trade try to figure something out, but nobody needs to be actively shopped.
  12. In the corresponding move, P Jakob Junis was activated off the 60 day IL. 40 man roster is full.
  13. Elieser Hernandez is first on the chopping block, getting DFA'd after Junis was removed from the 60 day IL and activated. He won't be the last, either. Mitchell, Hall, Bukauskas and DWill will all be coming off the 60 day IL at some point in the next month or so. Every one of those guys will need a 40 man roster spot to open up. Gasser will be moved to the 60 day, so that's one spot. Also, I'm not seeing what Jeferson Quero's deal is...it just says "minors" on the brewers.com roster page...but I'd imagine he could be put on the 60 day as well. Although there is something goofy about being injured long term while being on the 40 man but NOT the 26 man roster.
  14. Why do I think most here went to sleep?
  15. huh. Bauers and Hoskins are the heroes... baseball is awesome.
  16. Much better link, thanks. Looks like they are bad after an 0-2 count, but good in general with 2 strikes.
  17. https://www.mlb.com/stats/team/pitching/avg-allowed-by-the-pitcher?split=2s Brewers pitching staff has a .157 BA against it with 2 strikes. That's 6th best in the MLB.
  18. ooftah. Hoskins is soooo slow.....and probably still hurt.
  19. Contact play for the RUN....AND saved an out....big inning coming...
  20. They obviously HATE it when they face another lineup that alternates L-R, thus they do it themselves. It's just too easy to plan out your bullpen guys when the other team stacks guys too much on one side. Especially with the 3 batter rule.
