  1. This would be a great time for Wolf to get a "quality start". Hopefully he does better, but after the last two starts I'll take three runs in six innings.
  2. Yeah, I was listening. I didn't get much on velocity, but the first few batter he was throwing his fastball way outside according to Stu.
  3. Under control for three years. Ok, I'm getting me a T. Plush retro if I can. Definitely in the same league as Russell the muscle.
  4. I understand these may be completely different injuries and are different sports, but didn't Shaq have an oblique injury and I believe he was never 100% until the off-season. These things are like hammy pulls. You never truely know when you're going to be ready to go. I'd rather have him miss all of April than get back in there now and re-injure it and be out all of May also. And no, I'm not a doctor, I just play one on the interweb.
  5. Is Morgan just under contract for this year? Can I put a request in for a T-Plush bobblehead next year?
  6. Here's hoping that Baltimore and Hardy have a bad first half and we can pick him up for a song.
  7. Holy Cow. I didn't know they still made that game. That used to be my filler between the All-Star break when the Brewers were eliminated from the playoffs and Packer season. I'll have to check it out.
  8. Yo is going to be pissed if he doesn't get the ball. That was a disgusting inning.
  9. We'll take it. Looks like a rocket to the firstbase side in the boxscore.http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/tongue.gif
  10. Not that I'm complaining, but what's up with the lack of SO for Yo so far this year? Stuff?
  11. If Kotsay is out there, Weeks would have had to made that play.
  12. How many times is Wil going to swing at that outside pitch today?
  13. Ugh. This is a big one. Go NarvDog! Probably not a good that Narveson is being counted on as a stopper this early. A home opener win would go a long way to making me feel better about the first series debacle. Good to see Morgan in RF.
  14. In an effort to be optimistic, really the only person that played poorly was Axford. He really only threw one good pitch. He's lucky that Phillips was held to a single, that Gomez was manning CF for the second out. The only bad thing is I wish that 350 ft single was 360 ft homerun. Maybe Axford would have gotten yanked. Its pretty hard to blow a 3-run lead in the 9th unless you walk people or give up bombs. Axford did both. If we take the next two maybe we'll forget all about this debacle...maybe. I'm gonna be pissed if we lose the division by one game to the Reds, thats for sure.
  15. Jeez, not that he would have caught that, but Kotsay looks lost so far.
  16. Six pitch inning? Seriously? Way to put Volquez up against the ropes guys.
  17. I hoping for another high pitch count for Volquez and get him out before the 5th. Maybe we can wear down the Reds BP a bit.
