  1. No fourth round picks... I guess we are set at long-snapper and punter...
  2. We don't need any... Cole Madison showed up...
  3. Running Back probably...
  4. So, informal poll, who would be the worst possible choice for #30? Metcalf? Another Punter?
  5. Well you bring up PFF a lot. Here is the title on their writeup on Rashan Gary: Why Rashan Gary is not a first-round talent
  6. walterfootball.com live draft grade: Green Bay Packers: Rashan Gary, DE/DT, Michigan D Grade I can't really get behind this pick. Rashan Gary is insanely athletic and physically talented, but he was a huge disappointment as a player in Michigan. He also has some off-the-field concerns. There was speculation that Gary would fall to the 20s, which would've been a reasonable spot to select him. Not here, though. This is a major reach. If Gary couldn't produce in college, why would that suddenly happen when he has an NFL contract? Read more at http://walterfootball.com/nfldraftgrades.php#VSlHCiGUjWAh0wht.99 Edit: And piling on: Miami Dolphins: Christian Wilkins, DT, Clemson A- Grade The Rashan Gary and Christian Wilkins selections are just one spot apart, yet they couldn't be more radically different. The Packers took a guy who was a major slacker in college, whereas the Dolphins just picked a high-character player who was a team captain at his school. Oh, and Wilkins was pretty damn good as well! This is a great pick that must be in the "A" range, as Wilkins will be able to replace Ndamukong Suh's production. The only reason this isn't an A+ or an "A" is because I felt as though the Dolphins had so many needs that they had to trade down. Still, I'm a fan of this move. 7. I Guess you forgot to put "screw it up" as an option....
  8. C'mon Redskins... do the deal with the Bills..
  9. it kinda sucks to be a kid going into the draft hoping to get picked early and then find out the Lions picked you.... gotta be bittersweet...
  10. Jags couldn't pass up that steal... Come on Lions, pick an OL!
  11. Oh my. Do you hold pat and wait for the stud to drop to 12 or jump on going after Allen or Oliver....
  12. oh man. Thank you John Gruden....
  13. Why give them any time. Start the draft with.... "With the first pick, the Arizona Cardinals select.... The San Francisco 49ers are now on the clock..."
  14. I think the advantage the Bucks have is that they have excellent talent AND an excellent coach. I don't fear that the Celtics will have some miracle approach that will take down the Bucks because Coach Budz will figure out quickly how to adjust. I can't recall all the times the team looked bad in the first half and after the break, just demolished their opponents. Some of that is just the level of talent, but I think a lot had to do with adjustments Budz made.
  15. I don't think Simmons gets past the Colts or Raiders (24 or 27). If the Packers really want him they will have to move up from #30 into the 20-23 range (I don't like moving down from #12 to take Simmons unless we can move up from #30 as part of the trade).
  16. Silly Cardinals... Don't they know you run on contact...
  17. And yet he's hitting better than 3 of our starters...
  18. The take on ESPN is that the Packers are very hot on Jeffery Simmons and are likely to draft him at #30 or move up if they think someone else will take him. That clears a path to taking Andre Dillard at #12. The thinking being that #12 is huge reach for Simmons. Of course that's mostly Mel Kiper and I'm not sure how on target he is with mock drafts.
  19. Would that be breaking a century's long losing streak to finally win a World Series or did you mean winning tonight....
  20. Grandal has got the 3rd strike looking down pat... maybe he should work on swinging at the third strike...
