  1. It's not so simple as you make it out to be. I'm sure that the media guide gives the year of birth and not the age..hence, subtraction may be involved and therein lies the dilemma
  2. I'd guess he'll be about 7th. Rogers was in the 10 range last year, and he was a HS pitcher. Braun is a proven college commodity.
  3. predict weeks first at bat...i'll say "K"
  4. well since we know the game ends 8-1 its not really worth listening to the rest..later..
  5. he took the easy way ...didn't predict which inning davis will give up his run
  6. the tough question is who will finish ST with more dingers - Jenks, Lee, or Prince?
  7. wasnt lee's further (from a few days ago?)
  8. is it me or are you claiming every hit off Rogers is an infield hit. He gave up 3 hits yesterday incl an earned run, and its hard to imagine none of those balls made it out of the infield considering the run was scored as earned.
  9. any reason krynzel out of lineup tonight?
  10. Just when you thought it wasnt possible, Iribarren actually raises his avg and falls a triple short of the cycle...
  11. approaching 100 pct pts higher than the next best hitter on the team.
  12. I've decided to look for a silver lining so I checked out the minor league stats looking for something good. Mark Rogers just gave up his first earned run, but he got another 5 Ks, so on the season, he has pitched 6 1/3 and gotten 13 Ks. Not too shabby for a high schooler.
  13. Nice to Krynzel heating up right away. How did Weeks & Fielder do in the AS game?
  14. I'm starting to blv in Wes as our "stopper". Every time we have a nice streak going...
  15. I'm not so sure what you can take from this game in determining who plays..it looks like batting practice out there
  16. Its really difficult to get excited about a pro sport so lopsided in today's age. As much money as baseball makes, the fact that they can't make it an equally enjoyable sport, like the NBA and NFL do. 11 straight losing seasons doesn't happen to even the worst teams of the NBA and NFL these days. What is there to get excited about? That the Brewers may actually put together a good enough team, so that when they peak and almost make the playoffs, the players can cash in with the Yankees?? I'm sorry, but that just doesn't offer me enough as a fan. You'd think with Selig as comish, something would change. Every other sport is catching on except baseball. You plunk down $100 so you can watch a machine...so that maybe someday your favorite players make it to the real big league teams. Yes, I'm going to today's game (from Fox Valley), but I've long given up on this sport until something changes.. and something NEEDS to change.
  17. I was there Friday and I'll be again Wednesday..done my part (at least w/ Sheets on the mound)
