I don't know about let down. Hopefully theres a few more home games for the "classy" way . LaRussa can then enjoy them and know that all is right in his world again.

Honestly. this is a much tougher choice than the Philly/STL series was. There isn't a player on either team that I dislike offhand. I am not a fan of Jim Leyland or Ron Washington though. Both have experienced World Series recently. The people of Detroit have been through a lot though...so I guess I could see myself cheering for the Tigers. Then again, I do not want any cold weather games either. Time zone? Eh it might be an hour a head of time but from Detroit to Milwaukee isn't THAT bad. -

Interested......who watched that play LIVE? What was your reaction LIVE and not after hearing how awful this Bartman fella is? I honestly remember the play and just knowing right away the guy was gonna be screwed just because of the curse.

Ben Sheets 18 strikeout game.----I got my 5 seconds of fame on SC for the last inning of work, 5 homers in the same inning I also remember going to a game where Hoffman blew the save or something. (In his GOOD year with the Crew nonetheless) You ask why this would be memorable. Well, I went with a buddy and his girlfriend and we were cheering for the Crew to not get anymore runs in the bottom of the 8th so we could experience Hells Bells in person. (We live 4 hours from the Park so going to Brewer games isnt a weekly or even monthly occurance). We had to explain to her why it was bad for the Crew to score more runs lol. After he blew the save she wouldnt shut up about how "I thought this guy was sposed to be good.:"

I work SAturday 5am til 4pm. Then Sunday 930-4pm. Let's just say I would love some night games or at least one night game! I guess at least I will catch the Badger game.

Been watching in silence and enjoying it but I must ask myself if this is a Brewer philosophy that once you determine your leftfielder hits 3rd does it have to stay this way? It seems like Yost/Macha were the same way in being stubborn like that 90% of the time. Go get em Brewers. Pretty confident they can close this out.

I;ve come to grips with Casey being in there....but really Hairston would be a much better option at short. Oh well....at least the bench is stronger.
