Even if we lose? Well I will be pissed if we lose, obviously, but you have to be able to not give up 4 runs in a single inning with any of the guys left in your bullpen.

For the record I think Jeffress here is absolutely the right move regardless of how it turns out.

We obviously don’t know if the Brewers will be leading or not, but having Hader available completely changes how the Dodgers are able to manage their lineup which, in my opinion, gives the Brewers a better chance at having a lead late tomorrow and/or Wednesday.

[sarcasm]At this point I would trust Albers to finish this thing off.[/sarcasm] In all seriousness, I would be fine with anyone but Hader pitching the 9th inning.

Having Hader “available” completely changes the moves the Dodgers are able to make with their lineup tomorrow night. I think you go for the jugular by trying to win without him tonight and having him available tomorrow to keep them guessing on when he is coming out to pitch.

Not having to pitch Hader in this game could be really, really big heading into the next two games.

I think you stick with the formula and give the Dodgers a different look. These are really good hitters, I don’t want them hacking against Chacín another time through.

Please finish the deal here on Pederson and get back to the dugout with the lead. Have to imagine this is the end of the road for Chacín regardless.
