Today is the final game of this 16 straight days with games stretch the Brewers have been on. Sort of strange that they go from playing every day for more than two weeks to getting 3 off days over the next 8 calendar days (starting tomorrow).

The four playoff appearances in a row makes me retroactively even more disappointed the Brewers finished a game behind the Rockies for a playoff spot in 2017.

Even without the home runs I am pretty excited seeing Yelich hitting the ball all around the yard lately.

Well if it’s against the Dodgers it’s worth remembering that they (the Dodgers) have struggled against LHP starters this year, and of course Lauer has a history of dominating the Dodgers himself.

He’s really only had one true ERA busting outing this season. That 2.0 IP against the Tigers in which he gave up 7 hits and 7 earned runs. If you subtract that one outing his season ERA would currently be 2.61.
