    6-4 the rest of the way gets Milwaukee to 69-68. I dont think Philly has the starting pitching to run away with anything. They could easily go 5-7 as they play the next 12 on the road. Houston might falter as well as they finish up in LA and then have to face the red hot hitting Reds followed by the Cardinals. This pack could tighten a lot especially if Milw can have a monsterous homestand. Believe!

    To me Florida presents the most difficult 3 games in this homestand. Winning 2 of 3 could set up a rather nice stretch in my opinion. Florida scares me much worse than ATL, Pitt or SD. Lets hope for 2 from Fla 2 from Atl 2 from Pit 3 from Sd 9-3 would completly turn the entire season around. That has to be the goal.

    An 8-4 homestand would certainly make things interesting. 69-68 would put them back to within stricking distance.

    What possible reason would there be to bench Hart and play Mcgruder today? That is a checkmark against Ned already today. I hope Chris does something but I like Corey's chances against the lefty better.

    Why is it that in nearly every other case.... A-OPS is considered the best measuring tool to compare players B-Baseball is considered a sport where stats "even out" over the course of the season and breaks will offset things like getting robbed. ......UNTIL we start talking about Carlos Lee vs Geoff Jenkins. Then all of a sudden we are breaking down every week of the year in some attempt to show that Lee is more valuable even though Jenks is blowing him away in OPS. I just dont get why is so hard to get the majority of Brewer fans to admit that Jenkins doesnt suck and that he is outplaying Lee.

    Brett....dont be a baby like Sutton. Its 3-1. Less than 24 hours after they knocked out the top pitcher in MLB you are ready to concede the game? Rluzinski might tell us that Milw only has an 11% chance to come back tonight, but I will watch till the end.

    luzinski dont act like you are the only one who knows what a statistical longshot this is. We KNOW that there is a 1 in 100 shot We also know that we are a 5 or 6 game win streak away from raising the odds to about 1 in 20. There IS hope. If you cant allow yourself the joy of pondering those types of scenarios then I truely dont understand your passion for being a brewer fan. You could probably prove that there is a 1 in 1 trillion chance that the Royals could lose 18 in a row, but that doesnt mean it didnt happen. There have been far longer shots in sports than this that haven done the ALOMST impossible. Just enoy the freaking ride with the knowledge that something special COULD happen. If you dont, why bother? PS...do you HONESTLY care if they reach 81 or 82 wins? I would rather this team finish with 80 wins 3 games of the WC (not realistic i know) that 88 wins and 10 games out of the WC. At least in the 80 win season, the final 10 games would be exciting and there would at least be a ray of hope.
