    I am actually sort of tired of the Brewer fan we all know at work or the in-law or wherever who insists that this team can't make the postseason. They can. Hell, by the end of the week Milwaukee might be 3 games out with almost a 1/3 of the season to go. Look at the above qoute. It has no perspective. What if we were talking about San Diego or Arizona in that quote? Would it still be hard to call games like this "big"? No. It doesnt matter what our record is right now. Our record floating in a vacuum doesn't matter. What matters is Milwaukees record in comparison to the rest of the teams in the league. That is why that quote is meaningless. If Ned and the boys can somehow catch lightening in a bottle over the next couple of weeks and win 10 of 15 then you better believe the Brewers will be in the hunt. Is it all a longshot? Yes. Is it impossible? Far from it. 2 games under .500 is meaningless. Just ask the D-Backs and Padres.

    One thing that certainly isnt fair is the fact that the NL central is the only division in MLB with SIX teams. How can their be a division with 4 teams and one with six? In the friggen AL west you have to only beat out THREE teams to make the postseason. In the Central, FIVE. That is hugely unfair. Bud needs to address that. 5.5 out of the WC. We NEED a big friggen winning streak.

    Well....the Mets are clinging to a lead over Houston.... There is a chance we will be back to 5.5 back in the race tonight! Brady should have made that catch. Its the difference between .500 and 2 games under.

    This game comes down to the simple fact that Brady Clark dropped a fairly routine fly ball to CF. There is no excuse for that. It wasnt an extraordinarily difficult play. He dropped it and blew the game.

    A win moves the Brewers to 4.5 out in the WC. Its a big momentum swinging game. Milw needs 3 of 4 to really make a splash in the WC chase.

    i recomend turning your computers and radios off and spending time with loved ones the remainder of the day. This isn't mentally healthy today. Shut it off and resume tomorow when Milwaukee has its head out of its rear end.
