    Couldn't agree more on the personal loyalty stuff, just throwing something out there that that I was feeling on the situation.

    Anyone else think the reason they are not bringing up Branyan for a full platoon is that they don't want to do that to Billy after he's been very flexible with the organization moving from infield to outfield back to infield and not complaining a whole lot about it? I feel like giving him this many opportunities to figure it out against righties could be a way of "paying him back." Now don't get me wrong here fellas I want 3T0 up here as much as anyone, but seems like something stupid like this could be playing a role?

    We were talking about it in the chat a little. FSN had Gagne living around 89-90 and topping out at 92 on the last pitch I believe. Gameday had him 93-94 topping at 96. Rluz I'm pretty sure that pitch to Ludwig was a fastball, almost positive but could be wrong.

    The only thing scary about the Cardinals is Skip Bayless picked them to win the Central and if he is right I just don't think I could bring myself to listen to the, "I told you so's"

    I remember last year when ABC in Milwaukee was doing a special on La Crosse students drinking and they woudl test them coming out of the bars. A few had .4 somethings.

    Jacoby Ellsbury, Jon Lester, and some prospects(Lowrie or Bowden i've heard a few times) to the Twins for Johann Santana and Pat Neshek. Probably not gonna happen but I think it would be a pretty awesome trade. First Brewers deal will be Rolen/Flores/cash for Cappy, Gwynn, Mench.

    I don't really feel the Mets or the Brewers look particularly bad. The Brewers trusted a pretty quality scout in their organization to trade for Mota, who could be a big help to the pen this year, and got rid of a catcher that didn't exactly work out for us. The Mets got rid of a guy who had lost favor in the organization and brought in a back up plan in case nothing could be worked out for catching. Seems like both teams ended up with what they wanted in the end.

    The mets offered Estrada to the Nats in the deal "for free" but they weren't interested according to Rosenthal, so it's pretty guaranteed that Estrada is going to be non-tendered

    Not a whole lot of kids have or even know what class is. They are just being kids man, no need to lump them in with Barry, but congrats to Barry and as well the Mets fan that looked like he survived a brutal pile up for that ball

    If you guys are thinking that you're being apart of the IGT is going to impact the game, then I'm glad you are taking an extra day off for sanity reasons... but seriously if they win this one in extras no IGT's ever again.

    Seriously out of all the things that people have against Barry this has got to the be on the bottom. He's frustrated with himself because hes hitting .111 this month. Just because he hits the same amount of home runs as Hank Aaron doesnt mean he is going to behave the same way Hank did. I think we all know that Barry is a jerk and that hes pretty good at hitting, he is going to be in the news enough the rest of the year that this really shouldnt be news.

    Both of those are the Pepsi giveaways, the way I can tell is the boxes that they are in. The SGA boxes say that they are stadium giveaways, the Pepsi ones are of the see-thru variety.

    I really really hate this play and can't even imagine how I would feel if I was on the losing end of it, but I can't really say much because as a pitcher I take advantage of the two umps as my pickoff move from the right side is a balk and I have never been called for it and have 13 picks in the last two years.

    According to the website updates, Zimmerman just went 6 1/3 scoreless giving up only 2 hits and striking out 10 against Oshkosh in the Regional Final. This can only help hsi cause.

    Hey Madtown Bomber I know Fabian and Rowe were pretty impressive, but what'd you think of the pitcher in game 2 for Concordia?
