I just can't believe he can be that stupid to pull such a moronic move. You have Shouse and Stetter and CC to face Giles...and through Gonzalez. I am just still in shock. Ned wants CC to have a no hitter but he just snatched defeat from the jaws of victory.

UNREAL. And people think Ned Yost should be manager of the year? He has single handedly lost games because of his ignorance of pitching the 10 million dollar man.

I also think by scoring this as quick as he did proves that Mr Webb had alterior motives in all of this. Not sure what they are, but as one of the newscasters said the other night, scoring it as fast as he did, proves he didn't want Milwaukee to have a no hitter in this and to me, the guy should not be brought back on this alone.

The fact of the matter is the guy is leading the league in COMPLETE GAMES! The Brewers bullpen is atrocious so can you imagine a McClung pitching 5 - 7 innings a start in his place. I guess that is the other main point.

a) He did use a replay. b) To fire the guy for this would be absurd. What replay did he use? Him comment about where the running Laroche is absolutely ABSURB. That is the one problem I have. Did anyone listen to John Kruk last night. And yes, he should be fired because A) he is not objectively looking at the play B) he also for reasons does not like the Brewers. Granted, the second is opinion but making the comments he did, means he is using his feelings not objectivity.

I understand that but the point is why make a comment about improves us by two wins? Sure, there is a generalized theory but I liked the fact CC was switching leagues for one and he is a clear cut ACE.

I am very, very worried about the lack of BP come postseason. I was hoping to see Stetter come and shut the Mets down instead of throwing the wild pitch. I am hoping to see Dillard get it together and him put on the postseason roster. Our BP will cost us.

This is a perfect time to find out if they will though. I think that it is a great chance to find out their mental makeup.

I am still curious as to where the information of this was found. So far the Brewers are 9 - 1 in games started by CC. If Weeks holds on to the ball and or makes a good throw it could be 10 - 0. Cy Young? Maybe...MVP...so far deservedly so.

How about pinch hitting for Kendall today? How were his stats today any better than Hall's? How about a thread, do you agree with never pinch hitting for Kendall because he's the starting C?

Sabathia tried to make a barehanded pickup of Andy LaRoche's softly hit grounder, but the Brewers ace dropped it. Official scorer Bob Webb immediately ruled it a hit, explaining he watched LaRoche out of the batter's box and the runner was two-thirds of the way down the line as Sabathia was picking the ball up. He also said the ball was spinning as it went to the left of the mound "with a left-handed pitcher going to get it. It's a difficult play." Milwaukee manager Ned Yost on Monday said it was "not a very good explanation in my mind, because, number one, the ball was not spinning, the ball was rolling. There's a huge difference. "It's a lot easier for a left-handed pitcher to go to the third base line and make that throw than a right-handed pitcher. The explanation didn't cover it for me, but, again, it's water under the bridge and it's all said and done." Yost's opinion was backed up by Detroit manager Jim Leyland on Monday. "Error. Definitely an error," Leyland said. "The guy wasn't halfway to first. From yahoo. The problem I have is that the clown scoring makes his comment about where LaRoche was but a replay if used would've shown this guy otherwise. Baseball should put the push to have his job taken away to fix the mess that he's made.

The Reds may have been underdogs going against the A's but the A's ran into a buzzsaw called the Cincy offense and Jose Rijo, not two mention the 2 headed closer in Charlton and Dibble. I also don't get how last year is irrelevant since they failed to accomplish anything like a "fart in the wind". Again, when you are comparing pitchers, Webb compared to Cra Z is like comparing a Kia to a Lexus. I would rather have Webb who has proven to a competent pitcher unlike Big Z. You also did fail to mention the DBacks added a beast in Dunn to hit against your overloaded RH starting pitching. I also recall that Dunn has hit some monster homers against the Cubs in his career.

Considering the Cubs history and last year's quick 3 games and out routine.... They missed Webb and Haren this year did they not as starters? And then throw in Lou's lack of success and taking the best team in baseball history record wise no where...
