Terrace Reserve for me tonight, ehh. If the Crew does not find a way to win this one, I might be needing a break from all things Baseball for a few days. Not a clean break, just a temporary separation of sorts. Please don't let it come down to this. Please beat the Braves, if for nothing else but to save our relationship.

I have almost forgotten this team is in first place http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/sick.gif

We shouldn't assume that Mr. Hancock is the scum of the earth FTJ, I agree with you there. It is Mr. Hancock's lawyer that is the true scum of the Earth. Just another example of how over litigated our society is in America, and how unable to accept personal or parental responsibility Americans have become.

Defense killed Cappy in the first inning. I will add the offense killed Cappy all game.

2-3 2B, HR - pretty normal line... for Braun

Penny can be sick at times, but suffers from occasional turnbowism. If he cannot get his offspeed stuff working, his 96mph fastball becomes very hitable. Get 2 Crew!!

Well this is definitely a favorable pitching matchup for the Crew. Lets hope they can win a game that they should win. I saw on ESPN today that Tomko is 7-1 vs. the Brewers along with a nice ERA against. That said, Crew Crush coming late tonight in a 13-5 bloodbath over the Dodgers. Dodger fans stay for an average of 1 2/3 innings after arriving in the 4th already down 6 runs.

Graffy Counsell Pitcher Gwynn All in a row. You feel the same way about Gwynn as I feel about Gross, although having Gross lead off on Friday was about the worst thing I have ever seen Ned do. Meanwhile, having Gwynn lead off is not so bad.

I like this lineup for today: Mench RF Gross CF Hart LF Graffinino 2B Counsell 3B Svuem SS Miller 1B Moeller C Bush P Make it happen Yost!!

I rarely leave a baseball game early, but tonight I had no choice. It was just an absolute stinker. I just wanted to go home. I left right after Cirillo showed Melvin what a great signing Craig Counsell was. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/mad.gif http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/mad.gif http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/mad.gif http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/mad.gif http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/mad.gif http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/mad.gif http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/mad.gif http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/mad.gif http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/mad.gif http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/mad.gif http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/mad.gif http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/mad.gif http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/mad.gif I should have left after I saw the lineup, Puke.

Gabe Gross, i will say it, is my hero for the day. Sheesh. GOOD TO WIN AGAIN!!!
  13. sheethead
Ah, delicious delicious irony. Only 2 more to go!!
  14. sheethead
Get outta here, seriously. Gabe Gross? The Gabe Gross?
  15. sheethead
Haha, you Gross haters! Puhlease. I might stop hating if he hits 3 more today.
  16. sheethead
They both need today off, in a bad way. Only if they use it spending the whole day thinking about what they did.
  17. sheethead
As for the Brewers, having to play both Counsell and Graffanino in the same lineup just says: bring up Braun, now! So true it hurts. It also says: listen at you're own risk.
  18. sheethead
Yost's lineups are starting to make me very angry http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/mad.gif

We scored 12 runs last time with that lineup. Why are people bashing it? Close, the only difference being Gross was not in the lineup, Bill Hall was. Edit: But Gross did keep a late rally going by getting HBP. If he does that 3 or 4 times today I would call that a success.
  20. sheethead
You want weak lineups, check out the Mets lineup against the Cubs today. 5 guys batting .217 or less in the starting lineup. That's what happens when they sit Reyes, Beltran, and Wright in the same game. Ah yes, very true. But one is the pitcher that doesn't have any ABs, and Delgado is another (he did pretty much win the game for them on Friday). I honestly can't belive Franco is still playing at 47 years old.

I just don't understand why Yost cannot bring himself to move Weeks in the lineup. Weeks does not need a day off, he just had one on Saturday. He needs to be moved out of the leadoff spot. Yost... Dee Dee Dee! One more things baseball gods... please let one of the following two things be true: 1) Gabe Gross gets 2+ hits today or 2) Gabe Gross does not come back to Milwaukee with the Brewers. That's not too much to ask, is it?
  22. sheethead
They just announced that Weeks and Hall will get the day off, Counsell batting second, TGJ leading off, Jenkins and Gross in the OF. Please, I am eating lunch. Good to see TGJ where he belongs, but CC, Graffy, and Gross all in the lineup at the same time? Along with Sheets batting 9th, this lineup has more holes than the protective netting behind home plate. Please baseball gods, make it so this will be the last time it happens.
  23. sheethead
BrewCrew, you are completely on target with this. I think most Brewer fans will agree you need to have the leadoff hitter getting on base, and Weeks isn't doing that. I just hope the rest of the fans and Brewer personnel realize we need this to happen right now!!
  24. sheethead
The game Monday night has opened the floodgates up for another Brewers swoon. Exactly.
  25. sheethead
Seriously, Ned needs to start playing with the lineup a bit. TGJ is a true leadoff hitter, and should be playing at least everytime against righties, and maybe even a trial against lefties. Rickie needs some time in the 6 or 7 hole, and Bill could use some time in the 5 or 6 spot. Time to start managing like a playoff caliber team. Get a win Crew, spite the Mench and Graffinino!
