  1. Clark with the flash of leather! Tim
  2. Nice to see the offense score a run, looks like we're hitting tonight. Baserunning mistake by Clark, but he didn't anticipate the cutoff. Tim
  3. I can't believe the Brewers actually pulled off a win. Hopefully we can get something going. I'd like to see Davis develop the consistency he had a few months ago that is, provided he gets run support which hasn't been easy lately. Nice to see Magruder step up. God knows Podsednik and the gang have been struggling as of late. Mike Adams is a very good young pitcher, I'm glad we have him. Tim
  4. Let's hope Doug can win this one. I also have a good vibe about this game, but I tend to get that whenever Doug Davis takes the mound for the Crew. Let's hope we can stop the Braves like we stopped the D Train and Florida. Tim
  5. No offense, but even if you have 1 post or 11,000 you should be treated equally if you post with at least some type of knowledge of the game and the Brewers. I actually thought there were pretty good posts. Of course, that's just one man's humble opinion. Tim
  6. Now Durrington is committing errors at 3rd base... Tim
  7. Wow right handed bench warmers who put the ball in play! What a genius Ned is! Singles hitters, too! I love the line Daron (I think, forgot who said it) just used: "If Yost is taking Capuano out this early, there must be a reason." Like Yost has a reason for everything else he does, including not looking at stats. Tim
  8. Capuano taken out after a gem and 84 pitches. He may be injured? Tim
  9. Bases juiced...for Gary Bennett! Tim
  10. Also, Craig Counsell is what baseball is all about. A guy who plays great defense, can hit the ball well, hustles and truly loves the game. He won't hit 5-10 homers a year, but he will drive in some runs and get on base. That's what it's all about. Nice job Craig and nice job Billy. Tim
  11. It was my fault, I was on vacation and didn't realize that Branyan was 3-5 with 3 RBIs. Should have checked first! Tim
  12. That was one game, you can't say he's "been hitting the ball well" after one solid performance. His average was in the .100s before that game. Tim
  13. According to Schroeder, Branyan has a "calcium deposit in his wrist so he'll be out for awhile." Just what we need. Bill also said "Branyan was hitting the ball well." Are we looking at the same Russell Branyan? Tim
  14. Willis might be thinking he was demoted to AA, looking at the other lineup. LOL, now that was good. Come on, Trent Durrington is only a journeyman utility guy. Willis may struggle during this one. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/eyes.gif Tim
  15. Sutton: "But you can't sit franchise caliber players like Jenkins." That might have been the must idiotic and uniformed comment ever by a person who should know the game. Easy for the DTrain, 3 up and 3 down. Looks like Dontrelle might shut us down today. Tim
  16. I can see that, too. I really don't like what Yost is starting to do. Not looking at stats, putting garbage on the field day in and day out and just making the team look like a joke. It's not good at all. Florida will destroy the Brewers, 7-1 (just a guess). Hall will hit a solo shot. Tim
  17. And Doug Davis becomes the first Brewer to win 10 games. Glad we got some run support! Tim
  18. Totally agree there. For the most part, he has solid control and can throw strikes. I really like how he gets ahead in the count and when he does, he usually wins. He's a very good pitcher, and I expect him to do big things (provided he can get run support!) in the future. Tim
  19. Glad to see the Wilsons sucking tonight. The only bad part about Doug Davis' outing was that he had 4 walks...but he didn't give up any runs and basically shut down the bats the Pirates have. Nicely pitched game! Tim
  20. Come on Mike...get outta this. Tim
  21. Great job by Doug Davis to work out of trouble! Tim
  22. Not only does Counsell get on base, but he plays consistent defense as well. Tim
  23. Now that IS funny. Too bad he was only your backup! Tim
  24. I think the Crew can handle Vogelsong, he has a 6.69 ERA this year and was just inserted back into the rotation because of the Benson trade. Should be interesting. Tim
  25. Beautiful catch by Billy Hall! Tim
