    rluzinski - You are very right. I think Bill Hall is a great guy (not a great player) - he can't make the easy defensive plays, but can make the very hard ones. And as you said, because he won a few games, most fans view him as a 'God' for lack of a better word. Earlier this year some website, I believe it was Fanball.com said that they hope Ned Yost caved into the pressure of starting Hall at SS over Craig Counsell because "the fans want it" and because of his "game winning home runs". It's nice that Hall won a few games with his bat, but with a bad OBP and horrible defense including today's mishap that cost Doug Davis his 11th win, we all know now that he's not that great of a player.     Nice job, bring him up so he gets bombed in an extra inning game. Why didn't they use Dave Burba!? I really feel bad for Doug Davis, at least he didn't get the loss. Tim

    I wonder what Doug Davis is feeling like now? Maybe if they would have brought in Burba after the 7th, we would have been OK. I'm sick of the horrible decisions Yost keeps making. No Burba, no Branyan, Hendrickson in relief. It seems like he's pissing the season away when in reality, he shouldn't be. Tim

    Sometimes Grieve takes way too many pitches (not a bad thing, but as has been said, taking the third strike everytime up at bat isn't a great thing) and does show an occassional lack of hustle. And the bullpen once again starts to collapse. Please don't blow it for Doug. Tim
