Even if they do blow it up , Braun and Garza are the only ones on a big money contract after this year. If the team tanks and goes with low priced FA and farm hands for a couple of years the Brewers should still be ok. Keep a 50-60 mil payroll and even sucking I bet we draw 1.5 milion

I'm afraid they will dump Lohse, Aram , parra and cotts salary know that attendance will be down and use that 40 mil or so to sign a couple of Garza/Lohse type pitchers and next year will be groundhog day all over again.

It's not that willy's not a good pitcher, but by the time these prospects make it up (2-3 years) he'll be in the last year of his deal.

Peralta should be traded. At best you flip a few of these guys for minor leaguers who are 2-3 years away. Willy will be in his 2-3 year of arby and if he pans out will probably leave to join either a winning team or a team that over pays him.

If the next 2-3 games are as bad as this last 3 I'd rather see either thornburg given a shot at starting again or jungman -
0-3 gave up 8 in 3.1, 4 in 6.1 and 6 in 6 innings. One start or 2 till you find an injury and see what you have in Jungman?

I really think he'll be our 3b of the future. He'll hit but not for power , could be a really good 2 hole hitter

I think some people have crazy expectations for this kid. I could see him in the DL and maybe extended spring/rookie league next year if he can handle the DL this year.

He had boras as his agent for the last contract. He told boras he wanted a new deal here and boras did it so it's not totally out of the realm of possibility .

Braun was statistically the WORST 3RD BASEMAN EVER IN THE FIELD. He will never play 3rd again at the mlb level.
