    Cap for reasons stated above. Other CBA wants: Balance around the posting process for Japanese/Korean players. May be part of the cap or revenue-sharing calculation. Another area where large market teams (especially the Dodgers) dominate given the fees, and have an incentive to keep going to shut other teams out of the international revenue. Service-time manipulation / Super 2 deterrents. Also related to the floor. This very likely has factored into our calculations the past couple of years. Fans want to see exciting young players promoted, and small-market teams in particular have reason to keep them down longer to save money and gain more control.

    I only learned a few days ago that pitchers were allowed to challenge since it seems it's both rare and for us, never happened before that. Not sure why they wouldn't just let the catcher handle it.

    I'm so glad we're still carrying Perkins to cover for Frelick and Bauers against LHP. Lara only has a 1.180 OPS against lefties.

    Can we ban stealing if by a fluke our 6-8 hitters get on? I'd rather clear the 7-9 spots than plan on a successful steal and a second fluke hit in the same inning.

    Plenty of ABs in that outfield for Lara. Especially since you don't lose anything defensively either.

    Highlight of the game was probably the announcers contemplating why so many bad players are on the team when there are better players in AAA. Nice to get announcers who aren't on the team's payroll once in a while for a sanity check.
