  1. Lauer now has a 3.47 ERA on the season. Figure that one out. I would have guessed 4.30.
  2. From McCalvy: Wonder if a team is going to take the risk on Hiura or if he's soon to be headed to Nashville for the rest of the year.
  3. Hummel could be productive, but he's not really even sniffing our top 20 prospects. Can't complain about "giving up the farm". This is less than I would have expected to rent Escobar.
  4. From the Pirates! And for a bucket of baseballs. Somehow the Pirates didn't think he was good enough to make their roster...
  5. Also agree with you. The article claims that Yelich is our best hitter to justify the choice, which itself is false. Adames is, and a healthy Wong, Garcia and Urias have been at worst on par with Yelich. Factoring in contract situations, Freddy would also be my choice.
  6. Got to feel good to go from being homeless/playing in a AAA park the past two years to getting a curtain call in a packed house.
  7. I'd give the 9th to Hader since he needs some work. If for some reason that's not the idea, letting Suter finish this out would be my second choice. Edit: Good call, Craig.
  8. So you think both Hiura and Rowdy are going down leaving us with only Jace as a first baseman and backup infielder? That doesn’t seem likely…….maybe JBJ will turn an ankle or something but other then that I just can’t see 5 outfielders……unless a pitcher gets sent down? Hiura is going down. Rowdy is staying.
  9. They play well with no Bucks game to get to, and no hang over from Bucks celebrations
  10. This is like Five Guys, where you place an order for fries and they just dump them into the bag.
  11. Tellez hasn't been much, but it's like acquiring an All Star compared to having Hiura play every day.
  12. They pass out programs that were printed at the beginning of the season at Mudcats games. It's quite depressing that Lemons is on the cover, with a big story on his comeback inside.
  13. 9 strikeouts and 2 hits in 6 innings for Luna. Send him to Biloxi!
