  1. Despite all the attempts to give the game away, Fortune smiles upon us tonight. Anyhoo, enjoy Tuesday Brewsday with Hader:
  2. The pitching choices tonight do lean toward an Ashby start tomorrow. Thought process makes sense - give the start to the guy used to starting who had some struggles out of the pen, even if he's going two innings.
  3. Wisdom is a pretty ironic name for a guy who tried to run on Pineapple.
  4. Goal is that he is the next in the line of our pitching prospects that comes up and throws some gas out of the pen for a couple innings, then moves into the rotation next year. Struggled with the move to the bullpen in AAA, so wouldn't be surprised if he makes the Nashville-Milwaukee trip a few times.
  5. Odd timing, we don’t have a pen arm that needs to be replaced. Cousins and Sanchez have thrown well in their first few appearances. I doubt it’s to replace Boxberger, Richards, or Strickland. Won't hurt with tomorrow likely a bullpen day. Still should be well covered with Suter, Cousins, Sanchez, and Ashby all being able to go multiple innings.
  6. Just another Angel Hernandez is terrible example:
  7. Two hits in the inning for JBJ...that's been an average week of hitting for him.
  8. 28 pitches, walking the entire waiver wire, bases loaded, Richards ready...
  9. Just remember to link us back to this after the dominant playoff start.
  10. Chill out, Freddy. Despite the hub-ub, that ball was completely out of reach for Garcia.
  11. Suter start/bullpen day? Given both Cousins and Sanchez regularly went multiple innings in the minors and the pen should be fresh enough following Peralta and Woodruff, that should get a solid 6 innings. Lindblom's last start means he won't be selected. And I really don't want to see Bettinger.
  12. First Stokes, now Lipka. After getting Ray back from the injured list. Really pilling up those AAA outfielders.
  13. Bullock seems to be in line for the system's Pitcher of the Year through the first half, with Gray the Player of the Year. Also, I'm totally game to Free Cooper Hummel.
  14. Ryan Weber is still on the team. I had to look it up since I wasn't sure. Does he get the 9th, or do they not want to risk needing to get Hader up?
