  1. Feliciano has been really good. It's not easy to OPS near .800 and hit 19 homers in the Carolina League. The injuries may make him seem older, but still only 20. Lot of potential. Zavolas has been shut down from reaching his innings limit, which is partly to do with his own success - he was always going deep into games. Still believe he's going to be an MLB starting pitcher. Not too bad a season for the affiliate projected to be our weakest by many. Teetered around .500 overall, but produced the MVP, Pitcher of the Year, Lutz is starting to come around, Ashby on a good track, Bickford emerged from the forgotten, promoted File and Andrews near mid-season.
  2. Looks like the Lutz Tweet was re-posted. Nothing on Turang in this one:
  3. As a non-football fan, I am doomed to twiddle my thumbs for three months until college basketball starts. It was such a seamless transition last year.
  4. That was the most brutal Windows update ever. Literally started it at first pitch and just finished now. Braun should be sentenced to first base. He used to be decent in the outfield, but has become such a liability.
  5. I wonder if we lead the league in number of games being no hit through 4 or 5 innings. One of our talents, to go along with giving up 12+ runs.
  6. With the 1:35 ET start tomorrow and coming from San Antonio they may be arriving at the park in the 5th inning and without sleep. Unless they already have someone hanging around as insurance.
  7. I know it's really unpopular and would probably be lame for MLB, but the runner on second in extras thing is actually really fun in the minors. Or they could just have *gasp* ties after 12 or so innings, with the obvious exception of the postseason. Ties?! How un-American! AAA San Antonio also going to the 13th!

  9. Faster than Claudio. Though I think that's most of us between 12 and 75.
  10. This was why we saw Peralta last inning. A long way to the finish line and this bullpen to get you there makes for a bad time.
  11. The change of pace was ok last night. Tonight, I'm already done. Can Rock just call into the booth tomorrow?
  12. Only the Dodgers walk more. But only the Padres strike out more. No one hits worse with RISP. No one has fewer sacrifice bunts.
  13. Clayton Andrews gets the start in CF and leads off for Biloxi, goes 3-5 with a run and two RBIs. Top three affiliates are all streaking: San Antonio: 8 losses in a row Biloxi: 10 wins in a row Carolina: 6 losses in a row
