  1. I decided to go outside for a bit and cut some branches out of the tree so it might be me.
  2. Better line for Priester today, though still only 18 of 45 pitches for strikes.
  3. Was good with giving him a look, but I'm now ready for Lara. We're not in a position to carry another Seigler in hopes he figures it out up here.
  4. Another one of those games where just not getting no hit is our closest thing to victory.
  5. This frees up a 40-man spot vs. optioning Jones or Perkins. Another move coming in a couple days perhaps? Lara would be the big one. Jett is slumping again but is still going to happen eventually. Or one of the two BP arms that have yet to be scored on and are getting more than 1K/IP?
  6. Many missed opportunities but if you do manage to tag Skubal for 4 ER, give up fewer than 4 runs.
  7. Then don't check how Priester's rehab start went.
  8. Yoho's on his rehab assignment in case anyone was wondering when we're likely to replace the human victory cigar.
  9. Oooof. Also had to check that Perkins is still on the roster, since he didn't make it into the Sundayest lineup ever.
  10. What a gem! If Woodford can't go two with a 4 run lead, I question his roster spot.
  11. He seems to be feeling good. If we had a good and rested bullpen maybe you keep the wear off.
  12. 96 from Woody. A couple starts go, I thought he was done or in need of a lengthy ramp/rehab. I was very wrong.
  13. We did less to lose this than Miami. Therefore, we win.
  14. We need a Chafin-proof lead since our whole bullpen is a bunch of Chafins.
  15. 0-2 strikeout is a nice way to get out of your first jam. That's where a lot of pitchers either can't throw strikes or give up a dinger and get the bus back to AAA warming up.
  16. Two quality starts in a row. Nice to see Sproat pitching effectively.
  17. I'm good with giving Jones a look and Lockridge is adequate as a 4th/5th outfielder, but you can't leave Lara in AAA with how he's been looking and carry Matos, Jones, Perkins, and Lockridge as outfielders.
  18. I said I wish we'd light up Rogers since he throws like a girl, but perhaps girly hits was the answer all along.
  19. As a Niners fan, at least neither has actually hired a scientist to look into electrical substation conspiracy theories to dismiss it as a possible explanation for all the injuries.
  20. There wasn't a contingency plan for the entire bullpen being terrible. What do you even do? Just call up the starting depth and let them have at it? Hope the few guys having early success in Nashville's bullpen can handle this level? Cycle through other teams' DFAs hoping someone turns it around?
