  1. Time to go home up 7 and feast. Getting 2 is fine given a minor leaguer pitched against their ace once, Misiorowski shouldn't be starting, and Turang was the only player coming through with truly impactful hits all series.
  2. Another one of the bad Ortiz ABs. 3 walks and a full count later, he tries to ambush the first pitch.
  3. Only took until the second inning for Sal to go all out, soil his uniform, and bang himself up again.
  4. Megill's probably the only one I'd sit back down. Love the good clean inning after getting a lead.
  5. Cubs fans also left me with the impression that hits with an exit rate under 95 are considered foul balls at Wrigley. You'd almost think them liars!
  6. Ump has been brutal. Mostly squeezing, which is causing more pitches to be taken leading to more missed calls.
  7. Based on what we hear from Cubs fans, I was under the impression that runs scored on defensive lapses didn't count at Wrigley.
  8. 118-44 dreams squashed. Great chance to win, despite being so diminished. Better than rolling over 12-0. The team will meet you in Chicago, ROY favorite!
  9. #14 being the hero for win #14. Just when you thought there couldn't be another weird occurrance.
  10. The Vatican needs to be petitioned to make Bob Uecker a Saint. Given the Pope is a baseball fan and there is no earthly explanation for this, there's a good chance!
  11. Yelich vs. the Reds...they should probably just intentionally walk him every time.
  12. I think we can put to rest the Hall and Ashby as starters talk. Neither should be in the conversation when Arnold puts together his group for the 2026 rotation.
  13. Sometimes you pull a Charizard and sometimes you just pull energy cards
  14. Hopefully Joey can keep up the momentum up there in the 2 spot. Also a park that Vaughn statistically looks like he would dominate in. Gonna need some more special sauce with Berroa Lockridge back to back.
  15. Would have thought Myers over Anderson. Anderson in the minors, Henderson the IL, Zastryzny and Gasser on rehab. Patrick, Yoho, McGee the second tier in the minors. Yeager probably deserves a call-up but there's not a path this year. Some nice depth.
