Misiorowski, Durbin, Collins, Patrick, and a bit of Henderson seems an outsized list of rookies contributing for a contending team. That's the way to do it when you can't dish out a hundred million much less a billion on free agents in an offseason. -

Logical choice. Will let us know whether Vaughn and/or Bauers are worth tendering next year. There aren't any alternatives standing out that are currently in the organization.

Yeah, not buying into "Holmes is tough on righties" and "Tidwell gets torched by lefties" as good reasons when Durbin is both hitting well and had large reverse splits throughout the minors even if they haven't played out so far at MLB level. If the later is true, sitting Collins while Contreras and Chourio stay in the lineup.

They often do the optioning on the off day if someone is going down, which makes the player eligible to come back up a day earlier and that hasn't happened yet. So that could feed into speculation that it's an IL placement or they're good with Bauers/Yelich as backup outfielders until Perkins is ready and it's a Cameron DFA. Suppose we'll all find out tomorrow. -
