    Methinks Misiorowski would be better on the roster than Alexander as a long reliever / spot starter. Not that he should be pitching in the setup role versus 5th/6th either.

    I'd rather Arnold focus on reality and not offer someone who he isn't going to be able to re-sign than do the Doug Melvin and throw over the old 5 / $100M Prince Fielder offer to say he "tried".

    Capra would be the backup at SS. Don't think they want to chance Turang's health given the arm issues in spring training. The long term option is to root for Cooper Pratt to enter the mix sometime next year.

    For those like me who saw Max Muncy in the A's lineup, it's a different Max Muncy. Despite both coming up with the A's and both being born on August 25.

    Agree. Would be great to spot a rental to hold the position down for the year. Durbin / Capra is still a platoon with perhaps a better bat but worse defense.
