  1. Wait til Renfroe Adames Brian Anderson Woodruff? comes back... ?
  2. I don't fully get what's going on with this lineup, but I think I like it.
  3. Save us, Willy! Don't tell them if you get 7 hours and 59 minutes of sleep tonight or they'll have to wait it out another day as a precaution.
  4. I would give a tip to the beat reporter who follows that up with "When's the last time Cain had a good day?"
  5. Not the worst idea. Based on the baby's due date, he's probably expected to be out 2-3 days this week anyway.
  6. How about the roof "breaks" and we get some rain tomorrow?
  7. Just remember when seeing that lineup, the bench is: Urias (limited or unavailable), Yelich (possibly limited or unavailable, and terrible), and Caratini (catcher). So it's possible there isn't even a bench today. Given how everyone seems to get hurt, there's probably about a 5% chance a pitcher will have to play an inning in the outfield at some point.
  8. Thought this was a cool video
  9. A good pitcher, everybody hurt, and the manager putting forth a terrible lineup. Everything lining up for another Musgrove no hitter.
  10. Renfroe's language the other day around this was curious.
  11. McCutchen batting cleanup against a righty who he's 1-8 against and Hiura sitting against a righty who he's had some success against. Not digging this lineup.
  12. Keeping Kelley up over Strzelecki. Going for day-to-day fresh arms I suppose. Remember making it nearly a month before making a roster move? Making up for it now with the Nashville Train in full operation.
  13. Jackson was in the original lineup, then was updated and out of it by game time. Thinking it's him, but we should know the move soon.
  14. Girardi out in Philadelphia after another spending spree isn't translating to wins. https://www.espn.com/mlb/story/_/id/34031182/philadelphia-phillies-fire-manager-joe-girardi
  15. Counsell's best move of the evening was starting Peterson against a lefty. Can't sit him right now. Strzelecki wins in his debut, after nearly two weeks since he last pitched in a game.
  16. I'm just pulling for Alex Hall to get in the game at this point. He's more likely to get a hit than Yelich or McCutchen.
  17. If it's Small or Suter for a lefty in the pen, I'm gonna roll with Small.
  18. By the still shocked look in the dugout, tomorrow's move might be Alex Hall to the IL (heart attack). ?
  19. Seems CC is banking on Houser to be a groundball machine tonight. Upgrade the defense a bit, expect nothing to get hit to left.
  20. It's concerning that Adames had quad discomfort after his Carolina game and wasn't in the lineup for Nashville again tonight. Hopefully they don't play over-cautious with Renfroe. He said he would be good to go Friday if they activate him.
